Splinterlands SPS In Demand?

Is they fly wheel taking effect? A couple weeks ago we saw the demand for DEC creeping higher.

Supply has been increasing in likelihood of land 1.5 release. There is even increase in price for DEC even with supply increase. This is just too good for Splinterlands.

With the weekend almost over and countdown to land nearing it’s also time where we see demand for cards to rise due to players burning existing cards in order to obtain DEC. The supply of cards shrinking can be attributed to the rise in prices in recent days.

The point here is to note that we haven’t even started with the land and we already see both DEC and SPS rising from a bottom. There may simply not enough time to accumulate the tokens now unless players pay higher prices.

Be mindful that we are now into year two of SPS distribution which means less and less SPS rewarded. With less supply it should inherently make it higher in price.

CEO Matt had play down on the recent ramp in token prices but I think it’s happening sooner than later. With the existing players saturated but still paying higher prices it would mean the demand for the game is picking up. With new found appetite we may see the assets go back to all time higher. Time will tell.
