Splinterlands Richlist

The way Splinterlands assets are distributed I was curious where I stand. I found some somewhat shocking stats that is making me believe Splinterlands has yet to truly be adopted at large. Here me out.

The Chaos packs are no longer sold in game and there is a large amount of packs burned out of circulation. If we exclude the packs held by null, 47% total removed, then there is approximately top 200 hold more than half the packs that are still in circulation.

This is when it hit me where most of the packs are still held by only a few players. Can we imagine for a moment if those packs get distributed to the public that there will be many more players that can get interested in the game?

Let’s look at another example. The Rift Watcher packs are still selling but packs are being burned daily. Almost 70% of the packs have been removed in the current amount in circulation. Even with the left over 30% the majority again is held by 200 players, nearly half of all current circulation Rift packs are held by 200 players.

Obviously there can be more players partaking in buying Splinterlands cards. How that could happen remains a big question. I am just a bit surprise even after all these years the amount of assets still remains to be held by a few.
