Splinterlands - My End of Season 73 Results

Another season completed but this time my results were not as ideal as I had hope. Still good to review and see where I can perform better.

Season Rewards

I earned 22 chests for the season and considering it was lower than my past seasons it actually turned out pretty good rewards. First chest was a gold foil epic and there was also a chaos pack in the batch. Now I have a grand total of 11 Chaos packs all won in playing the game.

Season Performance

I have a better win to loss ratio this season but rating is lower. I barely held onto Gold II a day before the season ended only to find myself finishing the daily quest and down to Gold III. Lose out 4 chest rewards in season ends, but if it had to be so in order to get the gold foil epic I will take it.

What is truly a disappointment is that my season rank battle earned DEC remains in a down trend with this season earning less than 1k DEC. This is so bad that it continues to pull my overall winnings per a season when including daily chest rewards down to barely over 4k DEC in value. I truly hope the new ranking rewards update will benefit me more.

What is on the positive is that my rental income has risen to a stable 57k DEC while I still play plenty of my cards. I have a feeling I can continue this streak if the rental market keeps up. I am also using the generated rental income to purchase Chaos cards to build up my deck and filling in voids that I may have left open for renting out my cards.

Conclusions

End of the season I added a lot of Chaos cards and will continue to do so since future rank battle rewards determines how much cards players own.

What I need to focus on is getting better ranking as it appears I am at a handicap with earnings if I stick with Gold rank. I need to break through to Diamond in order to likely yield more and in order to do so I will have to invest heavily into the most demanding cards in the game, likely legendary summoners. Meanwhile I am also trying to upgrade in Chaos summoners as those seem to be more and more apparently useful.
