Splinterlands - My End Of Season 9 Review Oct. 15 2022

This past season I was playing for diamond reward chests and ended up with 29 in total. What I yield in $ equivalent at the time is higher than prior season.

Recall back last season although I had almost twice the amount of reward chests the total pull was just slighting $5 in reward value compare to this season close to $8.5 so over 60% increase.

A mere 0.95 win to lose ratio is not my best but ideal I had hope to be above 1. I was not able to get my rank score to hit diamond therefore I ended the season in Gold I. The ranking I actually do not mind considering my deck probably performs better in Gold than Diamond. I just don't have enough max level cards, especially summoners.

Earned Rewards

What is disappointing is that I only earned total of 58 SPS in rank battles for the entire season. When I included daily focus rewards it comes out just over 201 SPS. Still not a lot considering SPS currently is worth $0.07. This is equivalent to around $14 and combine with end of season its closer to $23. Not really an ideal number for total rewards but I"ll have to make due.

My rental earnings also came in a little lower than expected as it hits close to 46.5k DEC after all fees.

Conclusions

Overall this past season is one of the very few where I was playing for Diamond chests. I was also surprised that I would earn so much more at end of season with Diamond chests instead of Gold. It should be something to strive for where I get into the higher leagues in future seasons even though more often than not I will end up with less chests to open in Diamond.

For those who are aware there is a new proposal being voted currently in game that will effect players who uses level 1 cards. The proposal is motivating me to add more of the remaining Chaos cards I do not have and those that I have level 1 to be upgraded.

With around 7k DEC earned per a season that won't be a lot I can buy. So what I will be doing in spending some of my HBD savings and liquid Hives where I have to grow my collection.
