Splinterlands Land 1.0 Unveiled!

After waiting for so many months and for some over a year on the land expansion we have finally allow to play land 1.0. I open my five plots that I have saved over the years and here are the results and tips I learn in day 1.

Surveying

The major introduction with land 1.0 is that now we can survey our plots. This means we get to find out they rarity and attributes of our plots. The odds on getting a specific land:

I was fortunate enough to have held five plots for some time now and today I went ahead to survey all of them. I ended up with five common rarity plots, but one had magical associated. Like most people I wish I could have gotten more rarity lands but I take what I can get and considering there will only be 150k lands ever to be made I am happy getting what I have.

Starter Packages

For those unaware when you survey a land plot you have the initial and only opportunity to enhance your plot with starter packages. Each package can only be bought once per a plot and each cost 10k DEC or DEC-B. Advice if you plan to purchase use DEC-B as it will be a discount to convert from DEC to DEC-B. I bought 50k DEC-B to purchase a Building in a Box package for all five of my plots.

I skip the remainder packages even though I had enough to buy since the benefits in the packages appear temporary on limited while the Building in a Box package provides the Power Source in order to do work on plot of land.

Land 1.5 in The Future

My plots are ready to be played and with glimpse of each plot I am excited to continue on with land 1.0. I am hoping I the process goes smoothly as much as everyone else who have waited for so long.

The next step that is apart of land 1.0 is constructing building and producing or somehow gaining resources for the buildup to land 1.5. From the white paper land 1.5 is hope to be rolled out in 2nd quarter of this year, which we are currently in! So it may not be long for us to see additional features and functions of land expansion.
