Speed over Strength?
Do you ever wonder what stat you favor for when ever it comes to speed or strength. Often I feel I am stuck thinking about this when I play matches with little to no rule sets. In the lower leagues there are matches where no rule sets in play. Then it all comes down to what stats are best to play.
I personally lean towards speed in lieu of strength if I have to take between the two. Here are my reasons why.
Attacking First
In matches where there rule sets providing sneak or opportunity to all monsters I want to be putting in monsters with speed. That way they get to attack first and hopefully knock out my opponents before they can react. One of my favorite for such use is Exploding Dwarf where at max level it has a ridiculous melee of 6 and speed of 6. Of course the drawback is most of these quick attacking monsters if are unable to knock out the opponent they will likely be knocked out themselves as such Dwarf as an example with 1 health. On the flip side rule set equalizer will basically make Dwarf pretty much a legendary stats card with boosted health.
Enhanced Dodge
There is a hidden stats on the monster for those who have high speed stats. The hidden stats leans toward the odds of the monster being able to avoid an attack. Through experience it has come to my attention that high speed monsters have better odds of avoiding a lower speed monster's attack. This makes it difficult for high attacking monsters with slow speed to be able to knock out high speed monsters. Take note its an odds play so not fully certain that a high speed monster always avoids attacks from a slow monster. Yet I have seen often monsters with speed 5 and above be able to take misses from monsters with speed 1 and 2.
Goal Is To Knock Out Opponent
The whole premises of winning the match is to get your opponent's monsters knocked out before you. There are many strategies in doing so but if you can increase your odd of winning why would you not? That is why some matches I prefer to get monsters that have stats that are reasonably in speed and attack. When ever you can increase your odds of winning why would you not implement it?
Out of curiosity what do you prefer? Speed or strength?
Until next time thanks for reading!!!

I would like to say here that the man that I am plays with all his might and sometimes the advantage is that the first attack is scored and sometimes it is not. And if he has a win written in his fortune, he goes to win a losing game.
I tend to lean more towards strength but I get destroyed by speed quite often. Lately, I have found that speed might be a better way of doing things but I haven't really changed my strategy too much.

I've also always been in favour of speed :)
My thought process has always been the same for almost ever game:
"How can my opponent damage me if my opponent is dead?"
So I guess it works the same in Splinterlands, right?
"How can my opponent's cards damage mine if my opponent's cards have been knocked out already?"
