Plans on Staked SPS

The DEC burn event ended today and plenty of other things we can be anticipating out of Splinterlands that we can plan for. Next item I have been focusing on and continue to invest in is staked SPS.

Chart in the beginning of the post is the latest numbers for staked SPS to be needed in order to earn rewards per each league rating. I am currently playing at Gold I and it appears I need 58,305 staked sps to earn the same rewards I am currently earning. I just hit 43k staked today which means I have about 15k left to obtain.

SPS is currently in a downtrend with respect to Hive and it seems to have hit new all time lows recently. In my opinion this is a good time to accumulate SPS and I intend to invest more towards getting to my staked goals.

Looking ahead if I ever was to hope to earn in diamond league I would have to be staking over 88k SPS. Furthermore have leveled up majority of my cards to max level since at that specific league the best players are using max level cards. Overall a lot to invest in and this is just in Splinterlands battles.

I am also heavily investing into Soul Keep with holding more Nightmare packs in anticipation of the roll out of Tower Defense. It’s difficult to choose between all the different parts of Splinterlands to choose from.

The priority remains getting enough SPS staked and looking at current numbers I believe I can reach my goal during this summer. Meanwhile also continue to stake Nightmare packs for the cheap.

This is my strategy moving ahead when it comes to staking SPS. The DEC usage continues to increase as more proposals are being past to incorporate its use. Once land 1.5 rolls out one can hope that the fly wheel effect initiates between DEC and SPS leading to higher token prices.
