My Progress in Modern League
This post is to track my progress in my first full season under modern play. Note my results will vary from others so don’t take what I show here is what all can expect.
With the first few days of the season I was unable to get much of any wins and each win was in bronze league earning me less than 0.1 sps. On top of that less than 100 glint a battle. This was only occurring about five times a day out of say 10 to 20 battles. It goes to show keep playing and things will work out. Right?
Fast forward a week later and I finally crack through bronze and with that it became easier to get through all the way to silver. I had multiple double digit win streaks along the way but the earnings of each win was still a lot less than when I was playing gold league in wild.
In over a week I remain under 10k in glint earnings. This is a stark contrast to my wild days but without paying out the Dec I guess it’s something better than nothing.
For reference my card collection is 1.7mil and have access to about 400k of the collection for modern league play. This is a big handicap for me as a player in modern but one I will take on for now as I am unwilling to invest more on Dec.
With less than a week to play I hope to get over to gold league and maybe end the season near gold I. I am hoping to salvage this season by ending at a higher tier so that next season I don’t get stuck playing bronze for too long.
Until next time thanks for reading!!!
I have plenty of other cards for rent! Just go on peakmonsters and check out the market place and if you are curious what I offer here is a link:
The SPS starts to add up once you move up in the leagues. At Silver I/Gold III, I think I am getting like 270 or so Glint a win.
I just did an experiment to see what brings more benefit - upgrading my deck from Silver League lvl to Gold or staking SPS - it's the latter. The more SPS you stake, the more you earn, and impressively more.
So, with each 0,1 SPS you earn, you get a litte closer to earning more - it takes a long time. A shortcut would be to buy some. You can also try renting some for a week and see if it's profitable for you.
Happy battle
Happy earning
