Head To Head With Goldmatter

I went head to head with a Splinterlands whale and it was one of my worst defeats for the day or maybe even the week. Goldmatter was my opponent and I thought I could give a decent fight but not only did I come up short I just did little to no damage on his lineup.

True to form the whale had a stacked lineup that not many would ever get to face off let alone play with. He uses Prince as his summoner and boy golly with all those alpha gold legendaries it was an honor having to face them.

The blast ability was just too much for me to go against and then with some outstanding setup in his lineup he easily knocked my formation and subdued Quora.

I thought having sufficient amount of heals I would be able to withstand multiple attacks. What was not planned was how quickly my middle and rear formation got knocked out of the match. At the end of all this it was clear I was no match for Goldmatter.

Furthermore I think the match’s rule set helped Goldmatter more than it did for me as the random attacks came in full swing with plenty of knockouts of my monsters before mine could do much of anything or even nothing at all. The decrease in speed and random attack truly too the wind out of my formation. I could not overcome the barrage of melee and magic attacks.
