Crypto Dot Com Ending Some Altcoins Earnings

This is breaking news of the day in my opinion. Crypto dot com is ending certain altcoins from earn section starting 6/27. The existing altcoins that are staked in earn will still earn up to expiration of terms. Yet this is significant news considering the turmoil in the past few months in crypto.

Select tokens, Shiba Inu (SHIB), Dogecoin (DOGE), Tezos (XTZ), Maker (MKR), EOS, OMG, FLOW, KNC, ICX, COMP, BIFI, ONG, GAS, STRAX and BNT. The existing fixed-term allocations for these tokens remain unchanged until the end of the term and funds from active flexible-term allocations will be automatically returned to users by June 28, 2022, 10:00 UTC.

Conclusions

I feel CRO is a good indicator of the days ahead for crypto investing as a whole. For instance right around May 2022 CRO announced its deduction in CRO staking rewards and yields on earn. Similarly March 2022 there were adjustments in earn rates that effected many existing users.

Bottom line signs are not ideal right now for cryptocurrency investing when seeing the largest centralized exchange / crypto bank receding in rewards and bonuses. Less is the new norm.
