The type of seed you plant in your crop production really matters a lot and this also will give a very good insensitive to your crop and they grow up gradually. Even when they are about to show so many signs before the fruiting stages comes up. Just like every other crop there are so many signs you need to observe and see as a farmer that needs to protect the work you are doing individually. There are so many people that jump into different type of profession or career without protecting the job. This is a very wrong idea. No matter the job you do or profession you need to protect it firmly.

Tomato is one of the crops that is being grown in the northern part of Nigeria in mass simply because the northerners engage more in farming than the western or Eastern part of Nigeria because of the nature of their soil and environment. But nowadays even here in the western part of Nigeria we have people growing it gradually. It may not be much as you can see it in the northern part of Nigeria but we are also getting it gradually as well. I visited a farm which is not really a sole cropping system, but mix dropping system. On this particular Farmland they have just tomatoes 🍅🍒🍅🍒 alone but in another section they have both tomatoes and they chill bell 🌶️🫑🌶️🫑 mixed together. It is good to practice different types of cropping system so that you will be able to stand on your own feet if there is anything changes or if there is any challenge coming up with either the sole cropping or the mixed cropping system.

I took different pictures of their tomato species and how good they are in their productive rate. It is good to really take note of so many things in agriculture so that you will not be left out while others are making a lot of profit and also updating their Farm.

• The kind of tomato you see here in the western region of Nigeria is different from the ones you see in the northern part as you can see it clearly. Although it can be similar but very different. When you you compare the produce.

The steps you also need to follow in handling your tomato plant will also help to further more produce even within a small range of production. This is why it is good to make more research on crops before you jump into them.

There are some cases whereby even when you plant your tomato plant not too close to each other they will grow wider to touch each other leaves what you need to do is true look for dead branches and stake then accordingly or one after the other. It may take a longer period of time if the plot of land you use for the cultivation of tomato plant is much so the duration will also will be extended.

Within the range that you stake your tomato plant individually to the dead branches some May be injured but do not panic on this. After few days they will all start to regrow back again. By so doing it will have more strength and more flowers to produce.

You can practice the tomato planting in your farm using the agricultural Farmland or in your farm using the mobile Seedbed or using the mobile sack. It will all survive but you also need to add more nutrient to boost them every 2 months or more. It is highly necessary so that your produce will also bring better attraction to people.
