Hello Hivers 💕💘,

In Ile Ife, Osun State Nigeriawe have so many crop that is been planted as usual just like any other small town so we do have crops such as green vegetables mainly for those who have the opportunity to have their plot of land close to the swampy side. We also have some people who actually plant green vegetables on normal plot of land around when it is rainy season just like we are at the moment. We also have those who Plant Maizewhich is part of the commonest crop that is being planted this season. We also have some Plant Cowpea and groundnut but not to common. But in Ile Ife, it is another type of farming system entirely because I found out that most people at the plant plantain. Which is much more favorable at the region because of the weather.

The weather out there is very favorable to plant such crop. I went out to Subway and also take some pictures of what they have at that region of the town.

• It is also the mix crop system which is also one of the best method of system here in Nigeria. for those who want to make profit with what they already planted or what they are about to plant. you have to mix two or three types of crops together and in the next few months it will reach it naturally stage leaving the rest on the piece of land.

• We have the mixed cropping system where they planted plantain as well as cassava likewise Maize crop on the same piece of land this is economical because it improve soil fertility as well as it improve productivity. I love this time of method of planting because it does not waste any piece of land.
