Hello Hivers 💕💘,

Planting of different crops is always attached with different types of season. We have the crop that she'll be cultivated during the rainy season and we also have the crops that should be cultivated during the dry season and we also have crops that can survive both the rainy season and the dry season. So as a farmer you need to really identify what you want before jumping into a conclusion that you are crops. Planting of maize is a very common and a traditional thing here in West Africa Nigeria. You see a lot of people growing up maize 🌽🌽. Maize have a lot of advantage even when you plant it but the rainy season and the dry season.

  • Some people actually try to mix the crop together with crops such as Okro, potatoes, Pepper and sometimes green vegetables. It's also depend on your own capacity. How you can handle your crops on the same piece of land. It is really a survival mode because the two crops will be struggling to survive. But when you follow techniques and steps and also routine there will always be a head up during the farming season. Planting of my own maize is not for the season at all. I plant crops with my own discretion. Although some crops such as okra, green vegetables love's what is called good monitoring. I visited my miss farm and I was absolutely happy about the update I saw although there were a little bit of disaster with the eating up of the Maize 🌽🌽 itself.

You can always see this and there is nothing you can do because it is natural. There are some cases where by the flying bird will visit your farm regularly and also destroy what you already planted. This is why most people here in West Africa Nigeria they also implant two or three sticks and around the stick they will cover the stick with a very long dress. This will serve as a symbol that represent someone is working on the farm.

  • Sometimes this particular act may turns to what is called frustration. The frustration comes in when you have all what it takes to become a very good farmer and along the line you planted a lot of seeds, then one way or the other they are are very heavy exposure of the flying Birds.

The maize 🌽🌽 with its strong holding stem. I Noticed that only few of the crops possess this characteristics. When you really plant your Maize seed correctly. The maize stands so firm that will face any type of erosion.

  • The maize farm does not need more of water or else it will over grow up and the colour of the plant will change to Yellow color.

Sometimes you feel like harvesting all your planted crops such as Maize 🌽🌽 but it is not so. When you see one or two of your planted crops growing up to its maturity stage you need to take more observation to see if they truly need to be left alone to stay up on the soil for some days or weeks.

The already eaten up maize 🌽🌽 by flying birds. Some will come in hundreds and feast on your crop. There is always a season for that too with the record I took. We have some season when you wont see them at all but you see them more and more for some season.
