Roasted Corn π½π½ Season Still In Headway || One Of The Common Business Here In My Local Environment And In Nigeria As A Whole.
Hello Hivers ππ,
It is still season of so many crops such as Maize π½π½ , Green Vegetables, πΏπ±, Peppers πΆοΈπΆοΈ, fruits πππ₯ππππππ₯ and many more. this is to show us that there is a very good in the sea 4 more great production of food at the moment because once in a while the rain still fall which gives the impression and privilege to grow more crops at the present time. Although we have some crops that are not productive at the moment but yet we still have hope that there will be a bumper harvest such as cassava, Millet, Guinea corn etc.
The crops such as maize in some places are being cultivated in Swampy environment which gives more accessible long term PRODUCTION. I went around for this research and I found it to be true. I visited this woman selling roasted corn few days ago and it was a bunch of conversations throughout my stay. I also captured some moment with her and the corn because I bought few pieces for my family consumption.
- I took some picture when the woman was still roasting they come from Fresh and from its source. from our conversation for more than 15 to 20 minutes she said she always go into the woods to purchase at least half bag per day to sell for people. She also said that the money then gathered from the business she always put it in two two or three sections. One is for our children welfare and to pay school fees. And one is for savings.
I also met a lady waiting to collect her roasted corn. Roasted corn is bring consume by old and young people here in Nigeria and I know in some other parts of the world too. There is no age limit to this. Although it is not for early infant age.
Some people actually come to buy the fresh corn which is not roasted at all. It is also in two sections. 1 in some cases it will be cooked and eaten that way and the other part is that the raw corn will be cooked and mix with beans. And the mixture of maize and beans is absolutely delicious. It is very tasty and palatable. so whichever way you want to eat your corn it is acceptable.
When the woman did the calculation for me with which she always buy the charcoal for roasting the corn it is not too expensive. The cost is still very much bearable. Although the game is not too much. this is why some people actually go into roasting of corn businesses here and there all over Nigeria for survival for their family members.
