Hello Hivers 💕💘,

In Agriculture, there are some crops that always regenerate naturally on their own which also give a lot of production even after they have been harvested. They have the ability to grow back and within few months they are in for another harvesting again. Search chrome are crops like yam cassava, potato, sugarcane among others. There was one time when I planted the potato and within 4 to 5 months I was opportuned to harvest it. And it was massive. We went for the harvesting not knowing that that will be some hidden potato tuber that will regenerate on its own.

That is why agriculture is always a learning ground. When you learn the new thing today, you will also be exposed to another new thing tomorrow. And that is why you need to be observant and know what you are doing. So many people go into agriculture because of what other people are saying but nevertheless you must also train yourself along the line. So that it will be part of you. After a while, we discovered that we can still see some traces of new potato leaves going up where we have made a lot of harvesting initially. Its really surprises me but at the same time we also get into work instantly.

  • This is the vine of the leftover potatoes that was harvested sometimes ago but still grow more stronger in the soil with all necessary nutrients. That is Agriculture for you. Bringing out the best production even after the Harvesting has been done.

The vine started developing from day to day and it gave more strength to the root and its started to manifest better within few months. Although I started applying more water constantly to revive the dead vines along the line. Which is highly necessary.

After a while I discovered that there was more of more Green potato leaves coming up so I started giving it more attention. After a while I also discovered that, the root started coming up from the soil, which means that the potato tuber has become more bigger in the soil.

It is necessary to keep observing if you see this type of changes or new development in your farm. You need to give a very good treatment for them all one after the other. To make them to also utilize the surroundings nutrients.

Here comes the harvesting. When I observe that the soil is becoming more crack so I decided to give a trial with the harvesting which took us some few minutes. Because they are not much just few stand of the vine as shown in the pictures.

Just as a normal yam harvesting because all is categorize under tuber crops. So the first thing I did was to trace the root with my fingers before using the cutlass. if you use the cutlass at first it may cut of so many portions of the tuber. So you need to be extremely careful when harvesting your tuber or else you may lose a lot of tubers to the soil.

After the tracing was done then I began to use the cutlass to also trace it over and over again so that I can come in contact with all the portion on the potato tuba which is inside the soil. This potato tuber can also survive in any type of soil in as much as you have the nutrients in the soil and its not overused.

When a soil is overused it will have a adverse effect on the Crops. No matter how small it is. But potato can do well on soil like the loamy soil, the loamy-Sandy soil, the loamy-clay soil.

This was after it was later harvested. The bottom line is that when you cultivate crops like potato you will always have left over inside the soil that will regenerate and give you more produce.
