How I Locally Source For CHILI PEPPER 🌶️🌶️ Seeds Before Planting || Seed Verification, Cultivation Of Pepper 🌶️🌶️🌶️ Using Nursery Mobile Seedbed Techniques.
Hello Hivers 💘💕,.
What is needed of you before planting the chili pepper or any type of seed. This is how I source for chill pepper or bell pepper locally. And yes its grow up and Survive. There are other better ways by which you can source for your seeds and the results will be impressive and productive at the same time. When I saw a lot of messages that how can they involve in planting of pepper seeds and it will not be too much for them in handling it. So I came up with this method that is also used. I have used this method several times and it worked out well.
All what that is needed is you to locate a very good already harvested chill or bell pepper. Whichever way you want it. Therefore you may sun dry it for a while so that you will positively activate the seed inside it before planting it. As shown in the pictures below. This will also encourage people that it is not only when you visit the agricultural shop you can secure your own seed for planting. When you are being creative you can use what you have at your finger tips.
- This was when the pepper was already spread outside inside the sun for couple of 1 hour. After that I extracted the seed below as shown.
Like I said earlier you can use any type of pepper in this case.what you all need is to do is to verify if they are 100% viable.
This was after the seeds was extracted down below the pepper inside the tray.
I used the mobile seedbed technique of planting to cultivate this particular seed planting into nursery bed.
- This was after I finished separating the unused keg which I always use for planting.
This was the Organic fertilizer on board. This has also been a good helper for me during this planting season. I also recommend this for every farmer.
This was after I was already set for the next step which was turn on mixing of a soil and also adding of water to make it soft and moist.
- I also plan to use this but this is when they chill pepper might have already grow up to a full maturity stage then I will transplant it into this particular bucket. I'm planning on how to fix it before the time comes.
It was time for the Organic manure at first. You can bring in soil in your own case, all that is needed is to ensure a very good mixture of both the Organic manual and the soil thoroughly.
This also will be used to plant the main seedlings after it might have germinated. And reach it maturity state for transplanting. In the case of the bigger mobile seedbed. The lighter mobile seedbed is used for nursery section.
I also added more soil into it. The ratio must not surpass each other. You can make it 50/50 soil and organic manure ratio.
This was during the preparation was going on. It needed to be done with patience.
This was after the soil preparation was fully done. Then I also needed to add water to make it moist. Just as the same step it is highly necessary.
Then here comes the already extracted locally chill pepper. You must verify that the pepper are absolutely healthy and very final for planting so that you will not make all this efforts in vain. After the seeds verification. Then you plant it.
So finally I added another top layer of the soil to cover it up for quick germination and also to reduce the flying Birds picking up. So this is the simple way you can also start your chill paper or bell pepper Farm.

True. Gardening requires more patience. ☺️
That's the bitter-truth of agricultural generally.
Yeah, those who don't have patience for it, would easily surrender. Like me. 😁
Don't surrender please. There is always good news for the commitment and patiently waiting farmers
The problem with me, I was not trained when I was young, so, my interest in farming is less. But, maybe at my retirement age, I could try farming too. Hehehe
I've got to hand it to you, the attention to detail in your soil prep and watering is seriously impressive. Mixing in that organic fertilizer? Brilliant move. I bet your chili peppers are going to be bursting with flavor when they're all grown up... Lol
Speaking of which, I can't wait to see how your transplanting plan works out. That bucket setup looks like it's going to be the perfect home for your mature plants. You're really thinking ahead, my friend.
I'm taking notes over here, for sure.... Hehehe
Smile. Thanks for the heads up. Yes. I have been on the lookout for more mobile seedbed too. Absolutely yes. Very soon you see more of my different types and sizes of Chili 🌶️🫑🌶️ Pepper transplanting.
