In agriculture what you plant really matters a lot to also give you the best production you want. The kind of seat you plant will attract a lot of either benefits or the other side of it which farm maintenance will also complement it as far as agriculture is is concerned. When you plant your seed it may not come out as you have it in your original plan while some Will come out perfectly well there is no time to panic other than you need to replant your seed and see that it growth and development is more different and healthy as it grows. Agriculture is full of wisdom and creativity but for only you can get into a lot of activities to know the best method to use in cultivation as well as the harvesting method.
What I really observe is that as a farmer when you grow your crop to a very healthy stage which means that it has already grow up to a very full size that brings more of it production. But along the line we may fall into a trap of not getting the right method to harvest. There was one time when I visited a farm that was mainly plantain Farm. The owner of the farm who happened to be a very good friend of mine, wanted to harvest a very big plantain fruits from the tree. I was observing and watching from a very close range when he cuts of the plantain tree before the fruit itself. This method of harvesting plantain is extremely very wrong. Instantly I corrected him with a lot of examples to show for him. The first method may damage your plantain fruit which will also reduce it price of sale if it is mainly for commercial purpose. The method of harvesting should be, you need to pull up the plantain fruit with the already left over plantain leaves then pull it down gradually before you cut the plantain fruit itself gently. You also need to caution yourself because it may affect your arm. When this is completed you may now cut the main stem into smaller pieces. And you arrange it accordingly. This method is a great method which I have always been using. Although as individuals we may have different method that suit our own privacy.
- The type of tomato seed euro plant also will give you the best production you want and this is why as a farmer you must go for a very good healthy and hybrid seed so that it will give you a very good produce at the end of the planting season. Although there are some type of seed that is locally made and they are also efficients in planting.
The tomatoes I transplanted recently is getting more produce day after day likewise weekly. So this is why I always need to visit the farm regularly almost 2-2 days interval so that I can get the best harvest from it. One thing about some particular crop is that when the show signs of fruit maturity you need to harvest them within a short range of time or else it will not produce more for you that is the secret. Just like in tomatoes and pepper.
When I got to the tomato section although I have just few of them standing upright and this is because of the kind of change in weather condition that affected them mostly but I also have some survivors. And here they are been productive now.
You need to also observe the whole of your plant even when they are producing for you. You will see one or two dull or dead leaves you must remove them instantly so that it will not affect the growth and development of other parts of the plant. Observations should be take note of for a very good production season. This also goes for other type of crops.
The more you check on your planted crops most especially the ones of green vegetable species. You must be ready to work with them daily so that you will be familiar with your crops. If you ask most farmers how do their planted crops grow. They may not even say few words about this which is not a very good idea. What if someone who does not even know anything about agriculture put this questions to us. so we must be ready to explain in details how your planted crops grow within a given range of cultivation.
