The Day I lost my Job over a borrowed uniform

Hello All I am writing on InLeo prompt Day 10, I remember my days as a Fuel Attendant I was the one coming to the station to open the gate to the filling station.

This particular morning i was coming to the station to do my normal opening the station and after opening i do my normal clean up and stay at my pump which i sell fuel so what really happened was my uniform was so dirty i had to watched and take my colleague own to wear since his duty is till afternoon he is going to resume i had to watched mine and spread it i took this my colleague own and wore that faithful day.

I was already at my line of duty working so it got to around 1:00pm in the evening he came running towards the dressing room looking for his uniform i was now like your uniform is with me incase that’s what you are looking the next thing he said was why would i take his uniform that am i aware money is inside that where problem started i was now like which money inside that he shouldn't joke with such word this same person kept on screaming that he left a bunch of money for oil he sold yesterday inside the pocket I was now confused and said when I took the uniform I never noticed any money inside the pocket I was just trying to defend myself it was not a small issue not until the matter reached our superior nothing I said was valid I was wrongly accused of taking the money to the extent they did a total calculation of my sales no excess money there it was not still enough they searched my cloth which I bought to work they didn't see anything there it was really painful the mistake I did was putting on his cloth for work due to my own was dirty I had to lose many things cause this issue caused me to lose my job and was accused as a thief I was really pained and left the company that day.

I now thought to myself if I hadn't worn his clothes they wouldn't have been an issue of this and in the morning I did a thorough check of the uniform before putting it on and I didn't see any money there I felt he took the money home and spent it just use the opportunity to lie on me I was the one who took the money and which I never did my salary was used to repay that missing money and also I was wrongfully accused of theft which I didn't do, anything i said was invalid to their hear.
