Song number 53 on my Spotify list of the most listened to songs by me in the last year is The Safety Dance by Men Without Hats. I don't remember exactly when I first heard it, but I do remember when I added it to my playlist. I was looking for music from the soundtrack of the GTA San Andreas game from songs like Personal Jesus, among others. I stumbled upon this song, liked it and listened to it several times.
The song "The Safety Dance" is by the Canadian band Men Without Hats. It was released in 1983, became one of the band's biggest hits and a music icon from 1980 onwards. It is a Synth-Pop song with a catchy melody, reflecting the characteristic sound of early 1980s new wave music.
