Digital color on pen drawing

Hello everyone, i am here to share a new digital painting colored over a ball point pen drawing. i used clip studio paint software to make this painting.
i drew this sketch a few days ago and the sketch had such a good vibe so i couldn't wait to drop some color on it. i was specially looking forward to coloring that red part. i wanted to make it look like properly 3 dimensional. i think i succeeded in some parts of that. it looks like she is being engulfed with blood and at the last moment trying to escape from it.
the colors are very simple in this one so i was a bit worried that it wasn't going to look too good.....
