              MY FEARS

Fear comes with negative impacts, it's deadly and can hinder progress. One might miss great opportunities due to fear. Imagine a man, aware of a profitable investment, held back by the fear of the unknown.

Fear can undoubtedly cripple. When crippled by fear, one remains stagnant, afraid to make a move, and hindered from reaching full potential. We all harbor fears, and they can instill even greater fear. I fear losing something dear, like my phone, and constantly worry about it being stolen, along with other valuables.

Fear of Failure:

Fear of failure motivates me to work harder, striving to achieve my goals. Amidst unrealistic objectives, I find inspiration in someone ahead of me. This person becomes my motivation.
Most times, when I set out goals that look too unrealistic to achieve, I'm left with fear of failure, what if it doesn't work out, all efforts would be wasted?

But in the midst of all these contemplations, what usually helps me is looking for someone in the same lane with me but in a faster pace than I am. The person stands as my motivation, while I chase him or her on the ladder, while he or she keeps going higher, I keep chasing until I get to that height. This is one secret I have been using in conquering this fear in all my endeavors. Sometimes, I even come to notice the person is lagging behind and I'm soaring like an eagle.

Fear of Rejection:

To cope with the fear of rejection can be difficult, I remind myself that "nothing is new under the sun." This phrase helps me deal with emotional drain and potential isolation. Being rejected can be emotionally draining and truly can lead to isolation.

I hate being treated like I don't belong here, the fear of rejection makes me refuse going for occasions I am not duly invited and also it makes it difficult to relate easily with people I see are more influential than I am. The majority of these people have their way of instilling these feeling on those who have not attain their height. However, past experiences at my former place of worship triggered this fear.

Fear of Hospital Setting:

Fear of hospitals overwhelms me; I can't stay in a hospital room for long. The thought of fainting or losing consciousness troubles me. I thank God for my good health, avoiding hospital visits due to sickness. The general hospital setting, with its dizziness and unknowns, haunts me.

These fears cause nerves and stress, anticipating how they might affect me in the future. I know conquering these fears involves facing them, some fear may take time to conquer, but I know that motivation will eventually lead me to overcoming the ones that can't be overcome now.

Fear is a setback to our potentials, fear most often is a limitation to what we can achieve. It's good we work on our fears and see the brighter side of life

I also fear failure, sometimes I decide not try things out just because I don't want to fail.

I think it's a natural fear for humans.

You can’t always be treated how you expect to be. Not everyone will like you or agree to the stuff you want, say or do. Rejection is a part of human nature and we mostly feel we might be rejected by people of higher ranking because we have low self esteem and that makes us think we are not fit to roll with their kind. Truth is, we might even be better than them in all aspects of life. Sometimes these people just brand themselves to look big but in actual sense they’re just like us.😅

This is very true, sometimes it is more on packaging. Hahaha.

The fear of rejection sucks 💔.

Imagine being turned down while trying to make advances at a guy...as a lady.
Same thing happens to guys too😥

Hahaha, I don't even know if I will say guys experience it more. But the truth is that it's something we can't hide from because we will always experience them but how we handle it matters a lot.
