Going to heaven, is it a destiny? MCGI Topic Review

Greetings Members of MCGI Care Hive. It's a great pleasure to be here. Thanks for an opportunity for us to reflect on the word of God.

In part 3 of Going to Heaven, IS IT A DESTINY? I must say I learnt so much after listening to part 2 and 3 of this powerful word of God. Brother Eli Soriano clearly emphasizes on the topic destiny in relation to our salvation. He makes me understand that while God determines our going to heaven, we as individuals also have our part to play in being obedient. We should subdue our body like St Paul did and be doers of the word and not practice opposite of what we minister.

Also, he goes further to explain that living a life of imprudence and disobedience can lead to us being castaway. When we don't shape our destiny right by obeying God's word and walking upright against sin, that can lead us to not having that privilege of entering heaven.

In Matthew 7: 21 it says, "Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven."

Living a life of imprudence and disobedience is a disqualification to entering God's kingdom. It's not by the amount of time we called His name but our ability to do His will. The end result of not obeying God's commandments is castaway which St. Paul in his letter to the Corinthians informed us about how he subdued his body in order not to be preacher only. We are enjoined to subdue our body in order to secure a place in heaven.
