Styling a kimono gown with pattern at the front for my landlady
Greetings to all my friends on hive and needlework community how are we all doing today and how is Christmas preparation going and happy weekend to.
Although this time is not only for christian who are preparing for Christmas alone but also the end of the year where society, organization comes together to celebrate the end of the year .
My landlady gave me this Kampala fabrics to make any styles of my choice she told me that she want to wear it for their meeting get together she also gave me this aso Oke to style it with Kampala.
.
I don’t like it when a customer give me fabrics and tell me to make any style of choices and later the person will now complain about the style so I have to think of the style that will fit her and she will be impressed because this is my first time of making dress for her.
Cutting step
The styles is a very common kimono style but I style it in a way to look different from the one she use to see on people .
I cut out the neckline and place it on the aso oke in V shape then I folded 11” for the four side and place it at the center then I pin it down and sew it .
Sewing step
.
Final look
The style really came out beautiful and my landlady love the style.
thanks everyone for reading my post please I will appreciate your lovely comment and support.•
Designing a kimono gown with such attention to detail is truly impressive. The mix of Kampala and aso Oke fabrics adds a unique touch, and it's clear the landlady was thrilled with the result. Good work.
Thank you sir for your lovely comment and I really appreciate your support.
It is such an elegant outfit, the design is gorgeous, thanks for sharing
Yes, that freedom to tailor is a double-edged sword. But I'm sure your client will be very happy, because the style you chose looks beautiful.
