My first attempt in making two face trending head bonnet

Good day needleworkmonday, how are we all doing I hope we had a great weekend I pray this week will be a blessed week for us in Jesus name.

I always love to be here in needleworkmonday community because I will get to learn from my fellow hiver in various handwork they posted here I’m so glad to be here.

Today I will love to share this creative and beautiful head bonnet although it has been viral for a while now and this is my first time of making this two face head bonnet .

I made use of satin fabric that I have in the house and the black face is lining although I should have use black satin and of which i don’t have for now since the bonnet is for me i had to use the pieces of material I have and the result came out beautiful.

I folded the satin into four then I measure 12” triangle mid point then i measured all through then open it up and place on the black lining to cut the same size.

After cutting both I place the right side facing each other then I pin it down with my pin then I sew round then I leave about 3” allowance for the turning.

After sewing Round i notch the edges round to have a smooth edge then I insert the elastic I measure 1” round then I iron it and it came out beautiful and unique.
