I made a beautiful blouse out of the Ankara and lace material my mother bought for me .

Good day to you all how are we all doing and I was our night rest I hope we had a pleasant night .
Firstly I will like to appreciate all my friends on hive for curating and re blogging my last post and also those who drop their friendly comment I really appreciate you all, I love you all 🥰🥰🥰.

Today I will like to share with you all how I made this wrapper and blouse for my self .

My mum bought this Ankara fabrics for me has a gift for my wedding and my intention is to sew beautiful gown but our Nigeria mother believe that once u are getting married u are becoming a woman so I need the wrapper in the future so I had no choice than to sew a blouse with wrapper, I will be showing you all the cutting and sewing step of this style.

Material used for the blouse

1 trouser length of lace
1 trouser length of satin
Bra cup for the burst
Thread

Cutting step

I firstly cut on the satin so has to manage my material I measure the shoulder measurement to 8" then from shoulder to nipples point is 11", half length is 15" then full length of the blouse is 25" after that I measure from the middle 4" all through and 2" out to get my breast curve.

After cutting the front bodice I place it on the satin to cut my back bodice then I use the satin to cut out the lace .

Since is one shoulder off I joined the piece together first before cutting off one of the shoulder I measure 4" depth .

I joined the bodice together and I fixed the bra cup then join the satin separately then I use it to turn the lace I make sure I iron every sewing stage .

I make sure I made a design that will not make me look like old woman 😄😄😜😜.
