Hello creative hiver ,
Good day to all my beautiful and creative friends on hive and diy community how was our night rest I hope we all enjoyed ourselves, firstly I want to appreciate my friends who constantly comment on my post and I also appreciate their lovely support always God bless you all.
Today I will like to share this beautiful gown I made for my self I was trying the cloth I will wore to church on Sunday being pentecost Sunday I want to look good but most of my outfit does not enter me anymore so I decided to cut and sew this simple styles on Saturday morning and it came out beautiful.
Cutting and sewing step
I folded the fabrics into four then I measure the full length to be 56" after the I measure the shoulder to sleeve to be 18“ then I measure the neckline 3" length and 6" depth, the burst measurement is 14" + sewing allowance then the hip measurement is 16 " since is a free gown .
After cutting the main bodices I use aso oke to design the front of the gown and also to turn the sleeve .
Sewing step
I joined the both side together, fixed the side pocket then I place the aso oke on the Ankara fabrics and sew it after that I iron it and it came out beautiful and unique.
Finishing
I wore the dress to church on Sunday and it look beautiful on me and I love the way it free not tight on me.
