DIY on how I made this beautiful and sexy gown for my child dedication in church

Hello creative hiver,

How are we all doing it been a while I posted in this community and I’m so happy to be here today ,I put to birth that has been my reasons why I was not active but Thank God I’m alive to share this beautiful gown I made for my self.

I wore this gown to church last week Sunday for my child dedication and the gown look good on me , I will like to share with you all the cutting and sewing process of this gown .

I made use of one and half trouser yard of sequence material and padded foam for the breast cut and zip for the back of the dress.

Cutting process

I firstly cut the sket part of the gown the full length of the gown is 53” then the hip is 42” after cutting the sket part I then cut the upper part.

I measure 16” for the half length and I took 4” out because the dress is off shoulder then 12” for the under-burst the waistline is 32” after taking the measurement I measure 4” from the center to get the breast curve.

I cut a round flare for the sleeve though the is not the sleeve design I like but I have to manage this Sleeve because my material was not enough .

Sewing step

After cutting I took it to my sewing machine and sew and afterward I iron it and it came out simple and beautiful 😍.
