DIY on how I made this A shape style with unique neckline design for my mummy.
Hello creative hiver,
Thank God itβs weekend how was our night rest I hope we enjoy our weekend sleep ππ, I thank God Iβm alive to share my beautiful and creative handwork with diy community, firstly I want to appreciate my fellow hiver for their lovely comment always and for their constant support thank you all I really appreciate .
Today I will like to share this unique style I made for my mummy although is normal A shape gown that people know but I decided to make the neck line different and unique I hope you will all like my design.
Cutting and sewing step
I made use of 3 yards material and half yard of material I firstly folded the Ankara into four then I measured the full length to be 55β then I measure the shoulder to be 8β then the burst 11β and the hip measurement is 12β + 4β ease allowance.
I took 6β out of the full length to get the neck design after that I cut out the sleeve to be 12β length and 8 β width then I cut the net material in flare to join to the sleeve.
Sewing step
After cutting it I join the bodices together then I design the neck line then I fixed the side pocket and it came out beautiful and unique.
Finishing
