Swimming + City Shots + Wall Of Beer

Today's maximum temperature was 25 C, which is uncommon for late August but happens from time to time. Tomorrow's temperature maximum will be 27 C. But next week we will get a first taste of autumn as the temperature will crash and barely rise above 10 C in the latter half of the week.

Tomorrow may be the last day I go to a beach this year. But who knows.

To jump or not to jump. Nah. Too cold (not to mention too much crap on the platform).

I walked into the water here. Felt cool, maybe about 21 C.

You can spend time at the lake that way, too.

I didn't know they put cords like that attached to those rental boards around the user's ankle like that. An anti-theft device? :D

Seriously, I'm at a loss as to why the cord is there.

The only pharmacy open at the time was in the city center. That's why you are getting these city shots below.

The pharmacy was close to the market square. I heard music being played and went to see what was happening.

There was this band on a break according to the programme. They were shooting shit and practicing from what I could tell.

One of those girls noticed the programme printed and attached to a wall.

It was a really nice warm evening. It was a bit warmer in the city, about 26 C, than at the beach at the time.

I drove away.

Malt for brewing sahti at home. Sahti is a traditional ale brewed in this region. It is rarely available in supermarkets, though. It's a pity. My sister had a fun wedding where plenty of sahti was offered. I recall drinking copious amounts of it. As a 25-year-old engineering student at the time, even that amount had little effect on me, though. There's nothing like graduating, getting a full-time job and having a family that makes an engineering student's alcohol tolerance drop like a rock after a while has passed.

Viking Malt is a local malting house. If you want to see more of it, take a look at this photo post of mine.

Here's the whole factory from the street:

I wonder if a bag like that contains enough malt for a wall of beer like this:

Wonderful pictures. Seeing this amount of water, I got cold. The autumn weather is cooling down here too. I also liked the pictures of the city buildings
