Spicy chicken curry
Hello Foodies Bee Hive .I hope everyone is doing well. Today I am here with my most favorite food item which is chicken. I love chicken more than any food & I can eat chicken on a constant row .
There is a food shop in my campus where a family cooks lunch together and sells it. The specialty of the restaurant is that the chicken here is cooked with more spices and a lot of chillies . This shop in the campus is at the top of the choice of Jhalkhors ( spicy lovers) like me. Since I was staying at home for the past two months, I was missing the spicy chicken curry from the campus shop. So today I decided to cook spicy chicken curry for lunch.
Without talking too much, I will tell you how I made this drink.
Ingredients:
Chicken 750 gram
Onion paste 3 spoon
Ginger garlic paste 1 spoon
Oil 150 ML
5/6 Green Chilli
Red Chilli powder 2 table spoon
Tumeric powder 1/2 table spoon
Cumin powder 1 table spoon
Salt (according to your taste )
Two medium size potato
Water
Whole garam masala
Recipe:
First wash the chicken & strain it properly so that there is no extra water can be seen.
Put a pan ( take it big so that it will be easy to stir) , heat the pan properly. When the pan is hot, put oil in it and add onion and ginger garlic paste, whole garam masala and saute it well. I used mustard oil so it looks a little yellow.
Mix well with a little water until the oil floats on top of the masala. After that add a little water and put the green chillies in it .
Then add turmeric and chilli powder and salt and grind it until the oil float on top of the masala.
When the masala is grated, then lightly sprinkle the bay leaves and dry the water inside the masala and grind until the oil floats on top, it will not have the raw smell of the masala.
When the masala is ground, mix the washed chicken meat with the ground masala well, then grind it a few times with water little by little. If the water is added a little, the spices will enter the chicken meat.
After that, the boiled potatoes should be mashed in a light grainy manner, then the chicken should be mixed with potatoes with light water until the water dries up.
At this stage, if the chicken becomes a little soft, add a little more water and cook it on high heat. When the water reduces, mix a little with cumin powder and serve hot.
You can add or less spices according to your taste . I prefer spicy chicken cause I was craving for it for that I put extra spices in it .
I hope you like this recipe. For today I am saying goodbye here. Hope to see you soon , till then take care dear HIVERS.
