Después de un pequeño y necesario descanso, el día de hoy quiero compartir con ustedes esta nueva ilustración Fanart de @holozing. En esta oportunidad realice una versión kawaii del Forest Healer junto a su fiel compañero Grass Racoon.

Realizar esta ilustración me hizo escapar un poco de mis problemas y aunque no es mi favorita creo que logra su cometido el cual es representar al personaje. Espero les guste y sin mas que decir los dejo con el proceso.

Greetings to all! I hope you are well. 🙏 After a small and necessary break, today I want to share with you this new Fanart illustration by @holozing. This time I made a kawaii version of the Forest Healer with his faithful companion Grass Racoon.

Making this illustration made me escape a bit from my problems and although it is not my favourite I think it achieves its purpose which is to represent the character. I hope you like it and without more to say I leave you with the process.

Comencé con un boceto tipo retrato donde el personaje lleva a Grass Racoon en la cabeza. Aquí utilice un pincel grande para las primeras líneas y también hice uso de un dibujo que había hecho de Grass Racoon. Luego trabajé en el lineart para detallar las líneas.

I started with a portrait sketch where the character has Grass Racoon on his head. Here I used a large brush for the first lines and also made use of a drawing I had done of Grass Racoon. I then worked on the lineart to detail the lines.

En una nueva capa por debajo del lineart, aplique color violeta para definir los contornos del personaje. Luego por encima de esta capa comence a dar color al personaje, utilizando tonos similares a los de la referencia pero variando su saturación.

In a new layer below the lineart, I applied violet colour to define the contours of the character. Then on top of this layer I started to colour the character, using similar tones to those of the reference but varying their saturation.

Con los colores base aplicado procedí a colocar y trabajar en las sombras para dar un poco de volumen a los personajes, aquí utilice un tipo de coloreado cel shading pero difuminando algunas zonas, luego a esta sombra le cambie el tono por uno mas azulado y añadí brillo y luz a los ojos de los personajes.

With the base colours applied I proceeded to place and work on the shadows to give some volume to the characters, here I used a cel shading type of colouring but blurring some areas, then I changed the tone of this shadow for a more bluish one and added brightness and light to the eyes of the characters.

Para culminar trabaje en un pequeño fondo para presentar a los personajes, aquí inicie con un fondo blanco al cual le agregue algunos efectos de resplandor y algunos degradados arcoíris. ¿Que tal les pareció? Espero les haya gustado mi versión del personaje y nos vemos en un próximo post.

To finish I worked on a small background to present the characters, here I started with a white background to which I added some glow effects and some rainbow gradients. How did you like it? I hope you liked my version of the character and see you in a next post.
