¡Hola, gente linda de Hive! Espero se encuentren de lo mejor hoy día jueves. Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes un maquillaje que fue un reto para mí. Verán, aunque me encanta el maquillaje, no he tenido la oportunidad de practicar mucho en los maquillajes artísticos, aunque si bien ya he hecho varios, no es mi fuerte. Sin embargo, quise atreverme con esta preciosidad de maquillaje, es un maquillaje con efecto tornasol en TODO el rostro. Este maquillaje funciona como una ilusión óptica en donde el rostro parece metalizado con este efecto de colores, aunque se ve muy hermoso, les juro que no es para nada difícil. Hello, beautiful people of Hive! I hope you are feeling great today, Thursday. Today I want to share with you a makeup that was a challenge for me. You see, although I love makeup, I haven't had the opportunity to practice much in artistic makeup, although I've done several, it's not my forte. However, I wanted to dare with this beautiful makeup, it is a makeup with litmus effect on the WHOLE face. This makeup works as an optical illusion where the face looks metallic with this color effect, although it looks very beautiful, I swear it's not difficult at all. Procedimiento / Process:
Lo que haremos primero son las cejas, yo las rellene con sombra del tono muy similar a mis cejas, lo que hago es difuminarlas y posteriormente las contorneo con corrector para darles un aspecto más pulcro. Ahora tomé sombra negra y comencé a hacer un delineado en mis ojos, procuré que este fuese bastante notorio y lo más grueso que se pudiese, ya que mi párpado es caído. Luego para tener lista y preparada la piel, apliqué base y corrector como corresponde en el rostro.
What we will do first are the eyebrows, I filled them in with shadow very similar to my eyebrows, what I do is to blend them and then outline them with concealer to give them a neater look. Now I took black shadow and started to make an eyeliner on my eyes, I tried to make it quite noticeable and as thick as possible, since my eyelid is droopy. Then to have the skin ready and prepared, I applied foundation and concealer as it corresponds to the face.
Ahora, como esto es un efecto óptico, vamos a ocupar maquillar solo los puntos altos de la cara, aquellos que brillan naturalmente con la grasa del rostro. Entonces comencé a rodear esos puntos con una sombra fucsia que iba a ayudar a dar profundidad, la apliqué debajo del pómulo hasta casi la comisura de los labios, también en la zona hundida al costado de la fosa nasal, en una parte de la frente y barbilla. Luego difumináremos hacia abajo. Luego justo por encima de estas rayas apliqué sombra azul, la cual también procuré difuminar. Ahora apliqué la sombra celeste en todo el relleno de estas zonas, elegí una sombra celeste metalizada para el efecto.
Now, as this is an optical effect, let's take care to apply makeup only on the high points of the face, those that shine naturally with the fat of the face. Then I started to surround those points with a fuchsia shadow that was going to help give depth, I applied it under the cheekbone up to almost the corner of the lips, also in the sunken area at the side of the nostril, in a part of the forehead and chin. Then we blend downwards. Then just above these stripes I applied blue shadow, which I also tried to blend. Now I applied the light blue shadow all over the fill of these areas, I chose a metallic light blue shadow for the effect.
Ahora me enfoqué en afinar los detalles. Aplicaremos más azul y difuminaremos bien hacia el celeste. Luego retocaremos también el fucsia y difuminaremos hacia el azul. Un paso fundamental para este maquillaje con efecto óptico es aplicar iluminador color blanco o perla, es muy importante ya que este le dará más dimensión al maquillaje y hará que se note más el efecto que queremos. Aplicaremos el iluminador en el centro de donde pusimos la sombra celeste en las distintas partes. Ahora como toque final aplicamos pestañas postizas y pintamos los labios de negro.
Now I focused on refining the details. We will apply more blue and blend well towards the light blue. Then we will also touch up the fuchsia and blend towards the blue. A fundamental step for this makeup with optical effect is to apply white or pearl illuminator, it is very important because it will give more dimension to the makeup and will make the effect we want more noticeable. We will apply the illuminator in the center of where we put the light blue shadow in the different parts. Now as a final touch we apply false eyelashes and paint the lips in black.
