I fell from a mango tree [ENG-ESP]

Hello everyone. Again with you telling you about my antics as a child. I have to confess that I was quite restless and very wild. I could think of anything.

At home there was a very big mango tree. I loved to climb it and I was an expert at climbing it. Part of my childhood and adolescence I played in that mango tree. Just the mango tree was in the garden and when my mother's friends visited my mother would sit with them under the mango tree and when the tree was loaded with mangoes they would delight in peeling with a knife and eating the mangoes. I really remember my mother and her friends having a good time chatting and eating mangoes. And I would climb up and listen to what my mother and her friends were talking about. My mother used to say that girls shouldn't be in adult conversations. So I would climb up the garage roof and then I would climb the mango tree to listen to all the jokes that my mother's friends told and I would laugh quietly hahahaha. I was really a tremendous girl.

One day my mother wanted to hit me for a prank I had committed but I escaped and spent the whole afternoon climbing in the mango tree. I remember it was a Saturday and my mother had a birthday and was going to meet her friends under the mango tree.

My mother's friends arrived and the pachanga started, they began to dance and I was on the mango tree. I was about ten years old. One of the branches of the mango tree had a wooden plank attached with wires and as it was thin, I stayed there as if it were a bed.

I was afraid to get off because my mother was going to hit me. I was so tired that I fell asleep on the wooden board. I lost my balance and fell into a pile of leaves. And what I did was to scream. I fell on my left arm and broke it. My mother ordered the music to be turned off. Everything was chaos. My grandmother was screaming "the girl killed herself" and blaming my mother because she wanted to hit me. One of my mother's friends had a car and took me to the clinic.

Immediately the party was over. I was seen by the doctor on duty and he ordered an x-ray and indeed my arm was fractured. They put my arm in a cast. My mother was distraught and thought I had died. I spent weeks with the cast on and it was worse because I could not stand being in a cast. And I felt like riding on the mango tree hahahaha. After my arm was healed I kept climbing on the mango tree. I was more careful. Since then my mother never punished me or hit me again. hahahahaha.

Adventurous girl😁

the girl killed herself

Haha, grandmothers are always supportive in doing love when your parents wanted you to give the best training. I remembered how grandmother always saved me from my mother's punishment. 🙀😸
You have got an injury but save yourself from greater injuries( no punishment afterwards order).
Smile. 🤭

Adults really used to scold children back in the day for eavesdropping on their private conversations, and it would only make us all the more curious, wouldn't it? 😅 Look, you climbed all the way up a mango tree to have a listen. Too bad you fell asleep and fell off, it was the perfect hideout. Grandmothers are always the best looking out though.

Hello @trifecta-tt. I always used to hide in the mango bush when my mother wanted to punish me. I had been hiding for a long time and tiredness got the better of me. That's why I fell. Greetings

Hahahaha. They really thought that was a suicide attempt?

A good thing you never got hit again after that, what so you think about the deal you got, though? A broken arm in exchange for not being beaten by your mum ever again?😂

hahahahaha that wasn't bad at all that I traded a broken arm for not getting beaten up anymore. And that's how my mother never punished me again. Greetings
