Feliz día amigos de @needleworkmonday, espero que su inicio de semana este cargado de muchas bendiciones y lindos proyectos. Como les comenté el mes pasado estuve de vacaciones en Caripe, mi pueblo natal y esos días no cosí mucho ya que necesitaba descansar para renovar energías, pero siempre hay quien necesite un ajuste o cualquier trabajo y no se nos quita nada apoyar en esa eventualidad que presenten.
El hijo de una de mis mejores amigas allá en mi pueblo y que además es mi ahijado, está en la dulce espera y andaban en los últimos arreglos, tanto él como su esposa hacen costuras sencillas a mano pero no tenían idea como hacer el mosquitero para la cuna de la bebita que viene a alegrarles su hogar, por lo que me pidieron ayuda en que les explicara cómo hacerlo, además de explicarle como hacerlo, me ofrecía a hacérselo completamente, ya que era un detalle que quería tener con ellos en su nueva vida de padres.

As I told you last month I was on vacation in Caripe, my hometown and those days I did not sew much because I needed to rest to renew energies, but there is always someone who needs an adjustment or any work and we do not take anything away from supporting in that eventuality.
The son of one of my best friends back home and who is also my godson, is in sweet expectation and they were in the final arrangements, both he and his wife do simple hand sewing but had no idea how to make the mosquito net for the baby's crib that comes to brighten their home, so they asked me to help them explain how to do it, besides explaining how to do it, I offered to do it completely, as it was a detail that I wanted to have with them in their new life as parents.
Corté dos paños de tul fucsia de 2.8 x 3 mtrs cada uno. La tela tenía 2.80 cm de ancho lo cual tomé para el alto del mosquitero y los 3 mtr lo utilizaría para formar el ruche superior. Cortados los dos paños luego pasé costura para unirlos para formar una sola pieza nuevamente, esta unión estará en la parte trasera.
I cut two fuchsia tulle cloths of 2.8 x 3 mtrs each. The fabric was 2.80 cm wide which I took for the height of the mosquito net and the 3 mtrs I would use to form the upper ruching. After cutting the two pieces I sewed them together to form a single piece again, this union will be on the back side.
Luego hice el ruedo y la orilla en zigzag en la parte superior, así como también en la parte superior hice una costura floja por toda su extensión dejando unos 10 cm de la orilla superior, esta costura luego me sirvió para halarla y formar lo arruchado.
Then I made the hem and the zigzag edge at the top, as well as at the top I made a loose seam along its entire length leaving about 10 cm from the top edge, this seam then served me to pull it and form the ruffled part.
En la parte frontal del mosquitero como va abierto coloqué una cinta en tono fucsia bien fuerte, para hacer la decoración final.
On the front part of the mosquito net, as it is open, I placed a strong fuchsia ribbon to make the final decoration.
Así terminé un lindo y tierno proyecto de mosquitero para una linda princesa que llagará a alegrar los días de mi ahijado y toda la familia.
This is how I finished a cute and tender mosquito net project for a pretty princess that will brighten up the days of my godson and the whole family.
