"Primator India Pale Ale" or the bitterness of wormwood plus the sweetness of homemade cheesecake

Primator is a very well-known brewery in the Czech Republic, but not every liquor produced has to appeal to your taste. An example is the beer "IPA India PALE ALE".

Primator to bardzo znany browar w Czechach, ale nie każdy produkowany trunek musi przypaść do gustu. Przykładem jest piwo "IPA India PALE ALE".

This exceptionally bitter light beer combines many advantages. The first olfactory contact brings to mind citrus fruits.

To wyjątkowo goryczkowate jasne piwo łączy w sobie wiele walorów. Pierwszy kontakt zapachowy nasuwa na myśl owoce cytrusowe.

Taste is no different. The beer has a very strong bitterness, which tastes like citrus peel, namely Grapefruit.

Nie inaczej jest ze smakiem. Piwo bowiem ma bardzo mocną goryczkę, która przypomina w smaku skórkę z owoców cytrusowych, a mianowicie z Grapefruita.

I like this combination because I really like the bitterness of this fruit, sometimes I even add a piece of grapefruit peel to tea to make it slightly bitter.

Mi to zestawienie odpowiada ponieważ bardzo lubię gorycz tego owocu, czasami dodaję nawet kawałek skórki z grapefruita do herbaty, aby stałą się lekko gorzkawa.

Well, of course, not everyone likes bitterness, so I decided to pair this beer with homemade cheesecake baked by my wife. And here it gets more pleasant, because breaking the very sweet taste with a hint of orange, because in the cheesecake it is in the form of candied peel with bitter beer with a grapefruit aftertaste, comes out brilliantly.

No ale nie każdy oczywiście lubi goryczkę, więc postanowiłem zestawić to piwo z upieczonym przez moją małżonkę domowym sernikiem. I tu już robi się przyjemniej, bo łamanie mocno słodkiego smaku z nutą pomarańczy, bo w serniku ona występuje w postaci kandyzowanej skórki z gorzkim piwem z posmakiem grapefruita wychodzi genialnie.

The beer itself has a tea color, a dense foam that quickly builds up and falls slowly. The classic composition, i.e. two barley and wheat malts, and a high content of hops give the beer a very characteristic taste and smell.

Samo piwo ma herbaciany kolor, szybko powstającą gęstą pianę, która opada powoli. Klasyczny skład czyli dwa słody jęczmienny i pszeniczny oraz duża zawartość chmielu nadają piwu bardzo charakterystyczny smak i zapach.

For me, a great beer, because I am a supporter of a large amount of bitterness in beer and I sincerely recommend it. The cost in euros is about 1.3 euros for 1/2 liter of beer.

Dla mnie świetne piwo, bo jestem zwolennikiem dużej ilości goryczki w piwie i szczerze polecam. Koszt w przeliczeniu na euro około 1,3 Euro za 1/2 litra piwa.
