Hey dear Holozing community, how you doing?, today I bring you a digital drawing of Ocean Healer male version, to be honest it's not the first time I draw him and because I love the aesthetics of this character this time I wanted to do it with a manga~manhwa style because I'm so influenced by this aesthetics lately.

Hola querida comunidad de Holozing, ¿cómo se encuentran?, hoy les traigo un dibujo en digital de Ocean Healer versión masculina, la verdad no es la primera vez que lo dibujo y porque amo la estética de este personaje esta vez lo quise hacer con un estilo manga~manhwa porque estoy muy influenciada por esta estética últimamente.

I started my sketch with careless lines in purple, making the bust of the character with a simple semi-formal wardrobe, I decided to make her hair down instead of combed up to play with different styles, I wanted her to have a serene look and look young.

Empecé mi boceto con líneas descuidadas a color morado, haciendo el busto del personaje con un vestuario sencillo semi formal, decidí hacer su pelo hacia abajo en vez de peinado hacia arriba para jugar con diferentes estilos, quise que tuviera una mirada serena y se viera joven.

I cleaned up the previous sketch, but I didn't make a big effort in this as I liked the initial strokes a lot, what I did do was to add more details, correct some proportions and darken the lines.

Limpié el boceto anterior, pero no hice gran esfuerzo en esto ya que me gustaron mucho los trazos iniciales, lo que sí hice fue añadir más detalles, corregir algunas proporciones y oscurecer las líneas.

Color

I started with a flat base of colors, I added gray to the suit that later would become white using different shades of blue, I used a turquoise blue color for the hair and as I progressed I added rustic strokes with a thick brush with different shades of blue, for the skin I used a yellowish white color (I don't know how to call this color) and the part of the light I painted with a lighter tone, regarding the suit I defined the light area with white and the darker parts with a bluish gray.

Empecé con una base plana de colores, añadi gris al traje que luego se tornaría en blanco usando tonos distintos de azul, usé un color azul turquesa para el cabello y mientras avanzaba añadí trazos rústicos con pincel grueso con tonos distintos de azul, para la piel usé un color blanco amarilloso (no se como llamarle a este color) y la parte de la luz pinté con un tono mas claro, con respecto al traje definí la zona de luz con blanco y las partes más oscuras con un gris azulado.

With the shadow of the character's face I added a pinker color and with the help of the blur tool I distributed the color, respecting the points of light, following the part that separates the shadow from the light I drew a beige line.

Con la sombra del rostro del personaje fui añadiendo un color más rosado y con ayuda de la herramienta de difuminar fui distribuyendo el color, respetando los puntos de luz, siguiendo la parte que separa la sombra de la luz dibujé una línea beige.

Regarding the suit, the shirt below required several layers of blue with pencil strokes blurred, I added details such as his symbol on the arm in blue and white, I kept this detail of his original design. For the suit I used several layers with different options, with the "darken" layer I made the strokes for the shadow of the suit, for the lighter blue details that are highlighted I used the multiply option.

Con respecto al traje, la camisa de abajo requirió de varias capas de azul con pinceladas de lápiz difuminado, añadí detalles como su símbolo en el brazo en azul y blanco, conserve este detalle de su diseño original. Para el traje usé varias capas con diferentes opciones, con la capa de "oscurecer" hice los trazos para la sombra del traje, para los detalles de azul más claros que se ven resaltados usé la opción de multiplicar.

I used a light orange color for her lips and on some details of the face with a very soft finish using the graphite pencil.

Usé un color naranja claro para sus labios y en algunos detalles del rostro con acabado muy suave usando el lápiz de grafito.

For the eyes of the character I wanted to play with some features of his face, I changed the design of his hair but I kept his dark blue locks, I made his eyes have heterochromia so I drew one eye yellow and the other in its original light blue color and the detail that has a tiara in his hair I kept it but in the form of a tattoo on his face.

Para los ojos del personaje quise jugar con algunos rasgos de su rostro, le cambie el diseño del cabello pero conserve su mechón de azul oscuro, hice que sus ojos tuvieran heterocromia así que un ojo lo dibujé amarillo y el otro de su color original azul claro y el detalle que tiene por tiara en su pelo lo conserve pero en forma de tatuaje en su rostro.

Background

Fondo

I didn't decide on a background, so I started to improvise, on one side I made a kind of city not really well done with yellow, green and gray tones with sloppy lines, I made a pixelated effect and with a watercolor brush I painted the sky in pink, orange, purple and yellow colors, on the other side I made a super simple blue background so that the character would stand out.

No me decidí por un fondo, entonces comencé a improvisar, por un lado hice una especie ciudad no muy bien lograda con tonos amarillos, verdes y grises con líneas descuidadas, les hice un efecto pixelado y con pincel de acuarela pinté el cielo de colores rosa, naranja, morado y amarillo, por otro lado hice un fondo super sencillo de color azul para que el personaje resaltara.
