¡Feliz inicio de semana! ¿Qué tal se encuentran? Espero que muy bien, hoy estoy emocionada de poder compartir nuevamente en esta comunidad y en esta ocasión es sobre una serie que comencé a ver hace poco y es Dexter, tal vez ya la conozcan y muchos ya la hayan visto pero yo no me había interesado en ella hasta ahora cuando buscaba algo nuevo para ver luego de haber terminado con The Walking Dead, el punto es que esta serie me ha gustado mucho y quisiera compartirles un poco acerca de esas impresiones que me ha generado n el tiempo que llevo viéndola, es difícil pero intentaré en lo posible no hacer spoilers y más bien hablarles desde mi perspectiva personal, espero que les guste, sin más, ¡les cuento un poco!

I hope very well, today I am excited to be able to share again in this community and this time it is about a series that I started to watch recently and it is Dexter, maybe you already know it and many have already seen it but I I had not been interested in it until now when I was looking for something new to watch after finishing The Walking Dead, the point is that I really liked this series and I would like to share a little about those impressions that it has generated on me n the time I've been watching it, it's difficult but I'll try as much as possible not to make spoilers and rather talk to you from my personal perspective, I hope you like it, without further ado, I'll tell you a little!
Dexter ha sido para mí una de esas pocas series que ha logrado engancharme y que tras terminar cada capítulo solo quiero ver más y más, pues, su trama lo tiene todo, desde suspenso, misterio, acción, y hasta un poco de humor a su estilo, lo cual para mí son elementos que no pueden faltar en una serie de este tipo.
Dexter has been for me one of those few series that has managed to get me hooked and after finishing each chapter I just want to see more and more, because its plot has everything from suspense, mystery, action, and even a bit of humor to its style, which for me are elements that cannot be missing in a series of this type.
Pese a que Dexter es un asesino en serie nos hacen desarrollar cierta empatía por el personaje al punto de ver a la otra parte como el villano en lugar de a él que es quien asesina personas, nos cuentan su historia desde muchos puntos y poco a poco vamos comprendiendo como fue que surgió ese Dexter que tanto se esmera en ocultar a la sociedad, a quien el mismo en varias oportunidades se refiere como "el monstruo". Su historia pudo haber sido diferente de no ser por Harry (su padre adoptivo) pues ha sido gracias al código de Harry que Dexter ha logrado mantener su monstruo a raya hasta cierto punto, dirigiendo esa necesidad hacia los malos haciendo así hasta un mejor trabajo que el mismo departamento de policía en el que labora donde por supuesto nadie tiene la más mínima idea de quien realmente es, es decir, conviven con el asesino sin siquiera sospecharlo.
Despite the fact that Dexter is a serial killer, they make us develop a certain empathy for the character to the point of seeing the other party as the villain instead of him who is the one who kills people, they tell us his story from many points and little by little We are beginning to understand how this Dexter came about, whom he tries so hard to hide from society, whom he himself refers to on several occasions as "the monster". His story could have been different if it hadn't been for Harry (his adoptive father) because it has been thanks to Harry's code that Dexter has managed to keep his monster at bay to a certain extent, directing that need towards the bad guys, thus doing even a better job than the same police department where he works where of course no one has the slightest idea of who he really is, that is, they live with the murderer without even suspecting it.
Lo que más me encanta de esta serie es que todo tiene un giro pero es tan inesperado que hasta se me hace emocionante, recién acabo de terminar la temporada 2 y no puedo creer la cantidad de cosas que han pasado durante estos 24 episodios, siempre hay una revelación sobre su vida, sobre un caso, sobre algo importante y es eso precisamente lo que a mí en lo personal me deja con ganas de más, sinceramente pienso que esta serie no habría podido verla por la tv, no podría soportar la espera de una semana para ver otro capítulo y saber que más sucede.
What I love the most about this series is that everything has a twist but it's so unexpected that it's even exciting for me, I just finished season 2 and I can't believe the amount of things that have happened during these 24 episodes, there's always a revelation about his life, about a case, about something important and that is precisely what personally leaves me wanting more, I honestly think that I would not have been able to see this series on TV, I could not stand the wait for a week to see another chapter and know what else happens.
Por otra parte, en cuanto al actor que interpreta a este famoso asesino (Michael C. Hall) es el tipo perfecto para hacer este papel, las expresiones de su rostro tanto como su forma de actuar fingiendo que lleva una vida "normal" y que tiene sentimientos como cualquier otro ser humano es realmente increíble, no puedo imaginar a otro actor desarrollando este papel porque este tipo lo hace perfectamente bien.
On the other hand, as for the actor who plays this famous murderer (Michael C. Hall) he is the perfect guy to play this role, the expressions on his face as well as his way of acting pretending that he leads a "normal" life and that he has feelings like any other human being is really amazing, I can't imagine another actor playing this role because this guy does it perfectly well.
Otra cosa que me atrapa de esta serie es el tema de fondo, es decir, la música, un tanto dramática y misteriosa con un aire que inspira que hay algo malo, si algo he notado es que hay sonidos que te revelan lo que está por pasar, es casi como si la música de fondo nos hiciera spoiler y eso mismo recuerdo que me ha sucedido con otras series, por lo que parece ser un recurso común y la verdad es que me encanta porque yo disfruto mucho de los temas de una serie y más cuando me doy cuenta de que nos quieren decir algo.
No sé lo que sigue para Dexter en las próximas temporadas porque a veces aunque intente adivinar termina sucediendo algo diferente y eso me agrada, no me gusta cuando una serie es predecible, siento que le resta emoción, pero en fin, ya quiero saber que sigue, que va a suceder y mi pregunta cada vez que veo la serie ¿lo atraparan en algún momento? Pues no lo sé por ahora pero estoy ansiosa por descubrirlo, por suerte no he visto nada sobre esa serie ya que el hecho de tener unos cuantos años me favorece porque no hay nadie hablando de ella y por lo tanto no hay spoilers a los cuales huirles.
Another thing that catches me about this series is the background theme, that is, the music, somewhat dramatic and mysterious with an air that inspires that there is something wrong, if I have noticed anything it is that there are sounds that reveal what is about to happen. happen, it's almost as if the background music made us spoilers and I remember the same thing that has happened to me with other series, for what seems to be a common resource and the truth is that I love it because I really enjoy the themes of a series and more when I realize that they want to tell us something.
I don't know what's next for Dexter in the next seasons because sometimes, even if I try to guess, something different ends up happening and I like that, I don't like when a series is predictable, I feel that it takes away emotion, but anyway, I want to know what's next , what is going to happen and my question every time I see the series, will they catch him at some point? Well, I don't know for now but I'm anxious to find out, luckily I haven't seen anything about that series since the fact that I'm a few years old favors me because there's no one talking about it and therefore there are no spoilers to avoid. .

Me acuerdo que esta serie tenía mucha publicidad en el canal de WB, pero nunca le pare, con lo que me cuentas es muy interesante como el director nos quiere mostrar a un asesino aceptable, por lo que veo lo logra, espero verla a ver que tal. Gracias por tu post.
No lo mencioné en el post pero hace varios años vi unos 3 capítulos y no me gustó, tal vez no le presté mucha atención, pero ahora que la estoy viendo me encantó y vi 2 temporadas en menos de una semana, estoy enviciada jajaja espero que puedas verla y te guste. Gracias por leer!

Muy buena reseña amiga. Se ve que es una serie vastante interesante y cuenta con los elementos necesitarías para una serie de este estilo. He visto una que otra serie de misterio pero la verdad soy más de comedia o romance 🤭
