Memories of an award I won in a pandemic.

¡Feliz jueves! Acá me encuentro recordando que hoy se cumplen 3 años de uno de los tantos concursos que he ganado, este en particular me trae recuerdos de esos tiempos, aunque no precisamente del todo buenos, pues fue cuando recién comenzaba la pandemia en 2020 y una de mis distracciones fue participar en concursos, pero a su vez habían también muchas personas haciendo lo mismo, ya que todos nos encontrábamos en la misma situación, encerrados en casa con mucho tiempo libre.

Here I find myself remembering that today marks the 3rd anniversary of one of the many contests that I have won, this one in particular brings back memories of those times, although not exactly good ones, since it was when the pandemic was just beginning in 2020 and one of my distractions was participating in contests, but at the same time there were also many people doing the same, since we were all in the same situation, locked up at home with a lot of free time.

Recuerdo que en ese entonces se hacían muchos concursos y yo participaba en ellos pero noté que a diferencia de todas las veces anteriores habían muchas personas participando, podía notarse que la gente buscaba una distracción ante ese nuevo estilo de vida que comenzábamos a tener, por supuesto eso a mí no me detuvo de participar, al contrario, me motivaba más a hacerlo y con suerte gané un par de concursos y este es uno de ellos.

I remember that at that time there were many contests and I participated in them but I noticed that unlike all the previous times there were many people participating, you could tell that people were looking for a distraction from this new lifestyle that we were beginning to have, of course That didn't stop me from participating, on the contrary, it motivated me more to do it and with luck I won a couple of contests and this is one of them.

Gané el concurso un día como hoy hace 3 años y el premio fue una paleta de sombras de 12 tonos y un set de 3 brochas, fue la primera y única vez que gané algo relacionado con maquillaje y estaba súper feliz, era una tienda de Caracas pero el premio incluía el envío gratis a través de la empresa de envíos MRW, así que solo tuve que enviar mis datos y recibir mi premio unos días después. Con este premio comencé a experimentar con el maquillaje y a aprender poco a poco, lo cual me sirvió como distracción durante esa época de encierro y aburrimiento además de ayudarme a despejar la mente de todo lo que sucedía con respecto al Covid-19, así que en pocas palabras, ese concurso y el premio llegaron a mi vida en un buen momento.

I won the contest on a day like today 3 years ago and the prize was a 12-tone shadow palette and a set of 3 brushes, it was the first and only time I had won something related to makeup and I was super happy, it was a store in Caracas but the prize included free shipping through the MRW shipping company, so I only had to submit my information and receive my prize a few days later. With this award I began to experiment with makeup and learn little by little, which served as a distraction during that time of confinement and boredom, as well as helping me clear my mind of everything that was happening regarding Covid-19, so in In short, that contest and the award came into my life at a good time.
