En esta ocasión les traigo 2 grandes agrupaciones venezolanas que han llevado el rock alternativo a varios rincones del mundo con su propuesta musical.

Esta semana liberaron nuevos temas. Se tratan de las bandas Los Mesoneros y Viniloversus, oriundas de Caracas, cada una de ellas tiene su perfil aclamado por los grandes críticos de la música, consagrando su talento en reconocidos premios como lo es el Latin Grammy.

En este post quiero compartir con todos los amantes de la buena música y el buen gusto artístico con sus sonidos viscerales y letras que resuenan con la experiencia de una generación que han dejado una marca indeleble en cada uno de sus fanáticos.

Viniloversus: La Vanguardia del Rock Independiente Venezolano

La banda caraqueña regresa con su último tema que se titula No Más que formará parte de su sexta producción discográfica. Viniloversus está compuesta actualmente por Rodrigo Gonsalves(Guitarra y Voz), Juan Víctor Belisario(Bajo y Coros), Orlando Martínez (Batería) y Alberto Duhau(Guitarra).

Es una banda de rock alternativo que me permite estar siempre escuchando en mí día a día, teniendo letras contundentes como la crítica social que nos abruma a todos los venezolanos por la situación política de la actualidad, pueden describir amor y desamor en cada álbum.

Desde que los conocí con aquel sencillo Directo Al Grano que se desprende del súper álbum El Día Es Hoy (2008), fue donde empecé a seguirlos y admirarlos por su trabajo artístico. Las agrupaciones y artistas necesitan el apoyo constante de cada fanático y difundir en los medios de comunicación y redes sociales. Así como esta comunidad Music que apoya el talento emergente y enaltece todas las obras maestras.

Me encantó ese juego de la batería con la distorsión del bajo dejando la voz en un lugar tan favorable para poseer el riff de la guitarra y el tiempo es un veneno que me cura con el movimiento la cabeza mientras dejo correr esa pegajosa pieza.

La letra es una historia de esas parejas cuando terminan la relación, ya ni se conocen, ni se tratan, y se miran como extraños, se imaginan de una forma que estén presos y la única salida es escapar de la toxicidad. La canción No Más será un clásico en su historial musical.

Los Mesoneros: Elevando el Sonido Alternativo de Venezuela

En esta canción la banda te invita a ‘Su Lado De La Cama’ con su estilo de pop rock alternativo que lo caracteriza como una de las mejores bandas de Venezuela. Está conformada en la actualidad por Luis Jiménez, Juan Ignacio Sucre y Carlos Sardi.

Conocí a la banda a través de la radio, en ese momento me enganché con su primer Ep que lleva el nombre homónimo de la agrupación demostrando el gran talento que desempeña en el momento de componer su música, filmar y dirigir sus propios videos. Luego lanzan su disco debut Indeleble en este trabajo obtuvieron 4 nominaciones al Latin Grammy.

Tenía un programa de radio en Punta de Mata, Monagas-Venezuela dedicado al género rock, allí colocaba todos los estilos de lo que tiene que ver con ese estilo musical hasta sus raíces como: blues, soul, Rhythm and blues, y el nombre del programa radial era Mundo Rock, transmitido por la emisora Santa Bárbara Stereo 101.1 fm.

Allí apoyaba mucho a la música del rock venezolano, tuve una entrevista vía telefónica en octubre del año 2012 con el vocalista de Los Mesoneros, Jiménez nos contó sobre su nominación al Latin Grammy. En junio los pude ver en vivo en un concierto que estaban como invitados en el Festival Nuevas Bandas.

La letra del sencillo ‘Su Lado De La Cama’, habla de un estado emocional que está tratando de superar a su ex pareja, pero que invita a otra pareja con el miedo de aferrarse que su ex vuelva y advierte que aún guarda un bonito lugar en su corazón.

The band from Caracas returns with their latest song entitled No Más, which will be part of their sixth album. Viniloversus is currently composed of Rodrigo Gonsalves(Guitar and Vocals), Juan Victor Belisario(Bass and Backing Vocals), Orlando Martinez (Drums) and Alberto Duhau(Guitar).

It is an alternative rock band that allows me to be always listening in my day to day, having strong lyrics as social criticism that overwhelms all Venezuelans by the political situation of today, they can describe love and heartbreak in each album.

Los Mesoneros: Elevating the Alternative Sound of Venezuela
