Un joven cristiano que solía ir a caminar por las montañas se perdió. Cuando vio que pasaban las horas y no encontraba el camino de regreso, se puso a orar. Su fe era tan grande que cuando levantó el rostro y miró hacia el horizonte, vio una luz; sin pensarlo dos veces, decidió seguirla.

      Al llegar al sitio iluminado encontró a un anciano sentado, justo en la entrada de una humilde vivienda rural, con la mirada fija hacia un inmenso monolito de piedra parecido a un obelisco, el joven lo saludó con respeto y cariño pero el anciano no le respondió y siguió con la mirada puesta en aquella maravilla de la naturaleza. Al cabo de un rato el anciano regresó de su abstracción y se quedó mirando fijamente al recién llegado.

      - Qué haces aquí, preguntó el anciano.

• No lo sé, respondió el joven, lo único que recuerdo es haber perdido el camino de regreso a la ciudad y en mi oración desesperada ví una luz que me condujo hasta este lugar.
• Bienvenido a este lugar sagrado de luz y paz, aquí te puedes quedar a pasar la noche y en la mañana, al despuntar el alba, solo observa el obelisco y camina en esa dirección.
• Muchas gracias, dijo el joven. Quiere decir que la salida esta siguiendo la ruta que lleva al monolito.
• Sí, así es, respondió el anciano. La salida está ahí pero tú verdader camino, verdad, luz y vida está donde señala vértice del obelisco, mira siempre a lo alto y serás inmensamente feliz.

[ENG] In search of wisdom

A young Christian who used to go for a walk in the mountains got lost. When he saw that the hours were passing and he couldn't find his way back, he began to pray. His faith was so great that when he raised his face and looked towards the horizon, he saw a light; without thinking twice, he decided to follow her.

      Upon arriving at the illuminated site, he found an old man sitting, right at the entrance of a humble rural home, staring at an immense stone monolith similar to an obelisk. The young man greeted him with respect and affection, but the old man did not respond. and continued with his gaze focused on that wonder of nature. After a while the old man came out of his abstraction and stared at the newly arrived man.

      - What are you doing here, asked the old man.

• I don't know, answered the young man, the only thing I remember is having lost my way back to the city and in my desperate prayer I saw a light that led me to this place.
• Welcome to this sacred place of light and peace, here you can stay the night and in the morning, at dawn, just observe the obelisk and walk in that direction.
• Thank you very much, said the young man. He means that the exit is following the route that leads to the monolith.
• Yes, that's right, answered the old man. The exit is there but your true path, truth, light and life is where the vertex of the obelisk points, always look up and you will be immensely happy.
