Hey dear friends, I hope you are feeling great, on the 11th of this month was a very special day for the family, my little and spoiled niece turned 5 years old, in which she has given us laughter, love and fun, that's why we were planning and making some desserts for the celebration, my niece loves to collaborate in the kitchen when it comes to her cake so she gave us a little help, she had fun adding some ingredients to the mix, we had some problems with the mixer so I had to beat the mixture by hand with a paddle, it makes the process even more laborious but somehow more meaningful.

Hola queridos amigos, espero se encuentren genial, el 11 de marzo fue un día muy especial para la familia, mi pequeña y consentida sobrina cumplió sus 5 años de vida, en los que nos ha regalado risas, amor y diversión, es por esto que estuvimos planificando y haciendo algunos postres para la celebración, mi sobrina ama colaborar en la parte de la cocina cuando se trata de su torta así que nos echó una ayudita, se divirtió agregando algunos ingredientes a la mezcla, tuvimos algunos inconvenientes con la batidora así que me vi en la tarea de batir a mano con una paleta la mezcla, hace del proceso algo aún más trabajoso pero de alguna manera más significativo.

The birthday was the little mermaid's birthday and her parents organized the decorations in advance. In the afternoon we took care of picking up the cake which was decorated by a friend of the family to whom we always entrust our orders and it turned out beautifully, I came out half painted as you can see in the pictures, I tried to replicate the look of Ursula the wicked witch from the little mermaid who is one of my favorite villains and it was thanks to the enthusiastic request of my niece who wanted to play the little mermaid and what is the little mermaid without her villain in the movie, she told me that I should go purple and I decided to please her.

El cumpleaños era de la sirenita y con anticipación sus padres organizaron las decoraciones. En la tarde nos hicimos cargo de ir a buscar el pastel el cual fue decorado por un amigo de la familia al que siempre le confiamos nuestros encargos y quedó bellísimo, salí a medio pintar como pueden apreciar en las fotos, intenté replicar el look de Úrsula la bruja malvada de la sirenita quien es una de mis villanas favoritas y fue gracias a la petición entusiasta de mi sobrina quien quería encarnar a la sirenita y pues que es de la sirenita sin su villana en la peli, ella me dijo que debía ir de morado y decidí complacerla.

At the party my niece and her friends had a lot of fun, I also shared with them painting their faces, playing several dynamics and dancing to children's songs, I think they took me as the clown of the party. The whole celebration was great, after everyone got excited about the piñata and singing the birthday by candlelight it was time for my little girl to open her presents, on behalf of our family we gave her an illuminated tent, a nice canvas and a beautiful princess dress, which made her very excited.

En la fiesta mi sobrina y sus amiguitos se divirtieron un montón, además compartí con ellos pintando sus caritas, jugando a varias dinámicas y bailando canciones infantiles, creo que me tomaron como la payasita de la fiesta. Toda la celebración estuvo genial, después de que todos se emocionaran por la piñata y cantar el cumpleaños a la luz de sus velitas había llegado la hora de que mi pequeña abriera sus regalos, por parte de nuestra familia le regalamos una carpa iluminada, un lindo lienzo y un hermoso vestido de princesa, con lo cual se emocionó un montón.

At the end of the party and after having a sweet treat of eating candy and playing with his friends, his new tent was unveiled and he put all his presents in it saying that it was his new home, I was happy to hear that he liked it so much.

Al final de la fiesta y después de darse el dulce gusto de comer chucherías y jugar con sus amiguitos, su carpa nueva fue estrenada y metió todos sus regalitos en ella diciendo que era su nueva casa, me dio gusto de saber que le gustó demasiado.

My niece is a light in our lives, I hope she continues to grow up healthy and surrounded by love.

Mi sobrina es una luz en nuestras vidas, espero siga creciendo con salud y rodeada de amor.
