This is my presentation, I am Marhun Oldenburg - ENG \ SPA -
Dear Internet users, to begin this new cycle of writings and adventures, I consider it appropriate to begin by describing myself, to investigate a little about who I am, what my profession is, what I do, what I am a believer in, and in particular, what topics I will write about for all of you.
Estimados internautas para iniciar este nuevo ciclo de escrituras y aventuras considero oportuno comenzar describiéndome, indagar un poco en quién soy, cuál es mi profesión, a qué me dedico, a qué soy creyente, y en particular, sobre qué temas escribiré para todos ustedes.
My name is Marhun Oldenburg (Some call me MAO - which are my initials - and others call me Alex), two months ago I turned 27 years old, I was born in the State of Carabobo, specifically in the City of Valencia, in Venezuela and at A few months into my life, my parents moved to the Capital of the Country, where I have resided since then. So, despite having Carabobo blood, I was raised in Caracas, a corner of Venezuela that welcomed and adopted me.
Mi nombre es Marhun Oldenburg (Algunos me llaman MAO –que son mis iniciales- y otros me llaman Alex), hace dos meses cumplí mis 27 años de edad, nací en el Estado Carabobo en concreto en la Ciudad de Valencia, en Venezuela y a los pocos meses de vida mis padres se mudaron a la Capital del País, lugar donde resido desde entonces. Así que, a pesar de tener sangre carabobeña, fui criado en Caracas, rincón de Venezuela que me acogió y adoptó.
Since I was little my education was closely linked to the Catholic religion, I studied at the Santa Teresa School (private Catholic institution) until I graduated with a bachelor's degree in science and then at the Andrés Bello Catholic University (Directed by the Priests of the Society of Jesus - Los Jesuits-).
Desde pequeño mi educación estuvo muy vinculada a la religión católica, estudié en el Colegio Santa Teresa (Institución católica privada) hasta mi graduación como bachiller en ciencias y luego en la Universidad Católica Andrés Bello (Dirigida por los Sacerdotes de la Compañía de Jesús – Los Jesuitas-).
I am a comprehensive lawyer, which means that I handle different legal areas, although I must confess that my favorites are those known as “areas of private law” which are civil, commercial, corporate and financial.
Soy abogado integral, lo cual significa que manejo las distintas áreas legales, aunque debo confesar que mis favoritas son las conocidas como “áreas del derecho privado” las cuales son civil, mercantil, corporativo y financiero.
Currently I am dedicated to the free exercise of the profession as an independent lawyer, handling civil and commercial cases for different clients. This allows me and also gives me the opportunity and time to work as a professor of the Human Rights Chair and also of the chair of Religion at the Nazaret – San Bernardino School, a Catholic educational institution that is part of Nazaret Global Education, which integrates more than 38 schools that are distributed on all continents and which are directed by the Missionary Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth.
En la actualidad me dedico al libre ejercicio de la profesión como abogado independiente, llevando casos civiles y mercantiles de distintos clientes, esto me permite y me brinda también la oportunidad y el tiempo de trabajar como profesor titular de la cátedra de Derechos Humanos y también de la cátedra de Religión en el Colegio Nazaret – San Bernardino, institución educativa católica que forma parte de Nazaret Global Education, que integra más de 38 colegios que se encuentran distribuidos en todos los continentes y los cuales son dirigidos por las Hermanas Misioneras de la Sagrada Familia de Nazaret.
Among my favorite hobbies, three stand out: First, I love watching movies and series, I am a fan of apocalyptic, science fiction and fantasy stories. Second, I love spending time reading, I believe that reading transports us to a world without limits where our imagination flies and transports us wherever we want. Third, much of my time is dedicated to God. As a Catholic, I serve God and my Parish, which is the Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria Sanctuary.
Entre mis hobbies favoritos destacan tres: Primero, me encanta ver películas y series, soy fanático de las historias apocalípticas, de ciencia ficción y fantasía. Segundo, amo destinar tiempo a leer, considero que leer nos transporta a un mundo sin límites donde la imaginación vuela y nos transporta a donde queramos. Tercero, gran parte de mi tiempo se lo dedico a Dios, como católico que soy, sirvo a Dios y a mi Parroquia que es el Santuario Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria.
If I had to describe my life in one sentence it would be “Life is the most beautiful thing that can happen to you, live in the moment and don't waste it.” With this presentation that I am about to finish, I invite you to continue reading my stories and vote for them, I am going to share with you my reviews and opinions about the movies and series that I am watching, as well as my feelings and judgments about the books that I read, and above all the experiences I have had as a committed Catholic and layman.
Si tuviera que describir mi vida en una frase sería “La vida es lo más bonito que te puede pasar, vive el momento y no lo desaproveches”. Con esta presentación que estoy por terminar les invito a seguir leyendo mis historias y votar por ellas, voy a compartir con ustedes mis críticas y opiniones sobre las películas y series que vaya viendo, así como también mis sentimientos y juicios sobre los libros que lea, y sobre todo las vivencias que he tenido como católico y laico comprometido.
I am very happy to be part of this community, a place of recreation where I can share with millions of people my way of being, of seeing the world and being able to express myself freely. I thank my friend @iuliapetit2711 and my beautiful partner @luluvillarroel for motivating me to be here and share with all of you.
