Hive and Hive Engine Power Up Day December 2024

Hey Hivers,

Hope y'all are doing good! It's getting late in this first day of December, well so late that it's actually the second day... Anyways, I am trying to get back into the habit of posting my HPUD and PUM updates. As usual, it's also a good opportunity to review the details of my account growth and performance, as well as my goals and targets. Let's jump in right away!

HIVE

Just like last month, I was able to accumulate slightly more HBD and converted a few to HP, which means I powered up a little bit more than what had become my usual. With 16.666HP, it's still not a huge power up, but it's not bad, and it leaves me a few liquid Hive for future HPUDs.

Also identical to last month, my symbolic HBD savings contribution. Just over 2HBD monthly interest, it sounds like nothing, but it will eventually add up.

As for the account growth, it was another good month. Actually, it was my best since I started closely monitoring 4 years ago. It was mostly consistent and steady, except for that visible peak around mid-month. One of the main reasons for it is pinmapple and travelfeed teams liked my daily posts about my short trip to Madeira. I really appreciate their support, whenever I get a chance to go somewhere interesting. Of course, all these posts were once again completely ignored by the terrible Actifit curation, but that's expected. Favoritism is king for this shameful thing.
Anyways, starting with 6422HP, I added 221HP to reach 6643HP. That's over 7HP daily, and obviously well above my target, even after raising it again last month at 5HP. Again, yay!!

Finally, adding today's Power Up, that is a total of 6659HP, for an overall increase of 237HP in November, like I said, unless I am mistaken, my best ever!

SPORTS

Unfortunately, it wasn't so good for SPORTS, with only about 279k added to my stake, well under my 350k monthly target. By the way, I am not sure if any of the things some people were trying to do for this tribe were successful. Like I already said last month, with a stake over 21M, I probably ought to check if anything's going on.

ALIVE

Still nothing new on the We Are Alive tribe, but we are still #AliveAndThriving and I keep staking everything I can. With 671AP added to my stake in November, it's a little slower and below my 700AP monthly target, but it's not too far.

PHOTO

I'm sure I already explained that PHOTO is not something I really focus on, but my posts always include many photos, so it just makes sense. In November, with about 1661 PHOTO added to my stake, it was also a bit slower, and below my 2000 monthly target. I was talking about maybe raising my target last month, well that won't happen.

LOLZ

I significantly increased my LOLZ target last month, and yet, with 878 added to my stake in November, it was easily met! Some of my delegations are working well, and now with about 7183 LOLZ staked, it's not bad at all!

Targets

• I don't think I can repeat this Hive performance every month, so let's keep this 5HP target that I set last month. On a normal month, it's challenging, but doable.
• It's been slow for SPORTS, but let's see if we can add 300k to my stake in December.
• I was close in November, so let's keep the 700AP monthly target for ALIVE.
• I missed it in November, but the 2000 PHOTO monthly stake still makes sense I believe.
• Even though it seemed way out of reach just a couple months ago, adding 800 LOLZ a month seems doable now. So that will be my target for December.
• I started accumulating several other tokens (like WAIV, PEPE and a few others), but until I reach larger stakes, no need to list them here. And same for diesel pools, I keep adding to them, but it's basically dust for now.

And that is it. A very good month for Hive, but slower for several second layer tokens. The overall growth stays consistent and steady, and that's what matters!
