Splinterlands Art Contest Week 204 -- Dark Enchantress.

Hello my people, happy Friday for all my dear card game lovers, today I bring you a new fan-art for the #Splinterlands dynamic and it is about (Dark Enchantress), which is the Queen of the Dark Lord, a witch who has had to go through many difficulties throughout her life to become what she is today; I hope you like it very much and I leave you with the process of this drawing:

Hola mi gente, feliz viernes para todos mis queridos amantes de los juegos de carta, el día de hoy les traigo un nuevo fan-art para la dinámica de #Splinterlands y se trata de (Dark Enchantress), la cual es la Reina del Señor Oscuro, una bruja la cual ha tenido que atravesar por muchas dificultades a lo largo de su vida para convertirse en lo que es hoy en día; espero les guste mucho y los dejo con el proceso de este dibujo:

I wanted to make this character with a slightly younger appearance as seen in the game card, with a very similar facial expression, but trying to keep my drawing essence as I always like for these works; I took advantage of a new comic brush that I've been testing since yesterday to build a much better defined sketch and outline.

Quise hacer a este personaje con una apariencia ligeramente mas joven a como se aprecia en la carta del juego, con una expresión en el rostro muy parecida, pero tratando de mantener mi esencia de dibujo como siempre me gusta para estas obras; aproveché un nuevo pincel de comic que estuve probando desde ayer para construir un boceto y delineado mucho mejor definido.

For the construction of the skin I decided to use a medium pastel lavender color, to start quite light on the skin of (Dark Enchantress), then with much more intense colors I was establishing the shape to the skin with some volume in the arms, neck, and face of the character: I did this because the intense tones would make a good contrast with the light base of the skin. Then for the eyes and lips I used a lot of dark and cold tones to create the base, then for the inner iris of the 3 eyes I used a very striking bloody red.

Para la construcción de la piel decidí usar un color lavanda medio pastel, para empezar bastante ligero en la piel de (Dark Enchantress), luego con colores mucho mas intensos fui estableciendo la forma a la piel con cierto volumen en los brazos, cuello, y rostro del personaje: esto lo hice así ya que los tonos intensos harían buen contraste con la base clara de la piel. Luego para los ojos y labios si utilice muchos tonos oscuros y fríos para crear la base, luego para el iris interno de los 3 ojos use un rojo sangriento bastante llamativo.

The costume of (Dark Enchantress) was something that I loved to paint, it has been many months since I painted a costume like this witch or sorceress style, and this brought back good memories of my first digital works; for the witch dress I decided to use a very very dark gray color to add more colors and that these were noticed at the time of texturing. Then I moved on to the hair painting for which I wanted to try a new way of painting with slightly thicker wavy lines intermingled.

El traje de (Dark Enchantress) fue algo que me encanto mucho pintar, hace muchísimos meses que no pintaba un traje, así como este de estilo bruja o hechicera, y esto me trajo buenos recuerdos de mis primeras obras digitales; para el vestido de bruja decidí usar un color gris muy muy oscuro para poder añadir mas colores y que estos se notaran a la hora del texturizado. Luego me pasé al pintado del cabello para el cual quise probar una nueva forma de pintado con líneas onduladas ligeramente más gruesas y entremezcladas.

Building the character's necklace was very easy as I already have experience in creating this type of jewelry made of gold, I decided then to add some layer modes and thick white strokes to give a little impression that these jewels are somewhat antique. For the creation of the witch's flying broom I decided to use shades of brown with a tendency to reddish tones to create a wooden look very different from the ones I usually do in my works.

Construir el collar del personaje fue muy fácil pues ya tengo experiencia en crear este tipo de joyería hecha de oro, decidí luego añadirle algunos modos de capa y trazos blancos gruesos para dar un poco de impresión de que estas joyas son algo antiguas. Para la creación de la escoba voladora de la bruja decidí usar tonos de marrón con tendencia a los tonos rojizos para crear una apariencia de madera muy diferente a las que normalmente hago en mis obras.

Finally I decided to create a background like a bloody night quite turbulent and stormy, first I created a little depth with some brushes and darker tones; and then I painted a kind of gigantic moon in a bright red tone to give a little more thematic to the sorceress. Finally I painted some lightning or thunder in a variation of reds and whites to give a nice finish to my work.

Ya por último decidí crear un fondo como de noche sangrienta bastante turbulenta y tormentosa, primero cree un poco de profundidad con algunos pinceles y tonos mas oscuros; y luego fui pintando una especie de luna gigantesca en tonalidad roja bastante brillante para dar un poco más de temática a la hechicera. Finalmente pinte algunos relámpagos o truenos en variación de rojos y blancos para darle un buen acabado a mi obra.
