The Bay Of Achtopol — A Landscape/Seascape Contest Entry For Week #52

avatar

Hello, everyone!

Sharing another image of a trip along the Southern Reaches of the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast. The small town of Achtopol.

Approaching the lighthouse before sunrise. Some shots before reaching my intended point were taken from somehow awkward angles. Like this one. The ropes in the foreground were lit by street lights.

My entry for the Landscape/Seascape Contest by @axeman.

Have a nice week!

Yours,

Well...after you mention it it does look a little awkward...otherwise I would assume that it's some strange light ray from the sky, lol.

But the sky looks awesome! The sea too. It looks so calm.

That is a beautiful and quite serene looking shot! A scene that really puts the mind at ease and rest....

Good luck for the contest!

It can be really difficult to frame a photograph in the desired way while fighting man-made environmental intrusions. I'm always cursing power lines for getting in the way of what would otherwise be a great scene. Streetlights can do the same. Regardless, it's a brilliant shot!
