TIME MAGE - this high speed magic thrower is so awesome!
What’s up my fellow splinterlands players!
I hope all of you SL lovers are having an awesome day going on with your loved ones and also enjoying this beautiful and addictive game in meantime. Guess most of you are pretty busy right now as only 1 day left for this current splinterlands season to end and the competition is on it’s utmost level to reach the top places in all tiers, especially in Gold, Diamond and Champ for those lucrative rewards. For this season as well, splinterlands will be distributing DEC as leaderboard top place holder prizes but soon it is going to replaced with SPS I think.
Now, let us take a quick peak first into the crypto market and see it’s current status. First of all, the main dominator BTC is right now selling for 20,406$ per unit with a +2.99% growth in price within the last day and from the last 7 days graph, it looks like the downtrend has ended and we may see a good uptrend from here but who knows. The other giant ETH is being sold currently for 1,584$ per unit with a slight -0.15% price dip within last 24 hours but a sound +9.43% uptrend since last week. And for our dearest hive, it is currently being sold for 0.55$ per unit with a decent +4.76% pump within last day.
On the other hand, while looking at the splinterlands tokens price, the DEC is currently being traded for 0.00067$ per unit with a -4.52% price dip within last 24 hours while SPS have a slight -0.85% dip since last day as it is selling currently for only 0.0553$ per unit. At this price point I am very bullish on SPS as it has come almost close to it’s all time low point. I bought a big chunk of SPS today and thinking to keep it liquid. Vouchers on the other hand saw a quick spike on it’s price today with a +12.19% growth and right now selling for 0.525$ per unit.
TIME MAGE
Well, now let me continue my Showcase Saga as as I have come up today with another awesome Chaos monster, TIME MAGE to showcase. Time Mage a Rare Life Unit monster that belongs to the Chaos group of monsters. It is a low mana cost monster that has ability to Slow the speed of all enemy Monsters. This monster will equip two abilities on it’s max level. One the beginning stage, this monster has 1 magic power, 4 speed, 3 health along with Slow ability.
BRONZE
This monster needs 5 Rare cards to reach the bronze stage. On this stage, thus monster has 5 speed with 1 magic power and 3 health along with Slow ability.
SILVER
To reach into this Silver stage, this Monster needs total 25 rare cards. After it reaches this stage, this monster increases its attack power to 2 magic with 5 speed and 3 health along with the Slow ability.
GOLD
This monster needs a total of 60 Rare cards to reach into this Gold Stage. After it reaches into this stage, this monster equips another ability of Rust that helps it to Reduce the Armour of all enemy Monsters by 2.
CHAMP
This monster takes a total 115 rare cards to reach the maximum stage of upgradation. On this max stage, thus monster increases its health from 3 to 4 with 3 magic attack and 5 Speed along with the Slow and Rust ability.
IMPORTANT POINTS ABOUT TIME MAGE
First of all, It is a low Mana cost monster and you may use this mystic monster in any either big or small mana battles and in little leagues ruleset as well.
This monster will help you in battlefield by using its Slow ability which reduces the speed of all enemy Monsters in that battle.
This monster also has the amazing Rust ability that Reduces the Armour from all enemy Monsters.
Lastly, it is a high magic attack power monster that will target to hit directly to enemy’s health. So as an attacker, it also performs well in battles
MARKET STAT
This Chaos group Rare Life Unit monster price on Rare cards is around $0.23/bcx. And For a max stage monster you need only 22$ as one is listed for that cheap price right now. Sometimes the amount goes down like this as I last time saw a max level for 50$. On the other side, the price of level 2 Gold foil Monster is around $2.45 and if you want to buy the max level of this monster than you have to pay at least $80. This amounts are not stable sometimes they goes down.

Back to Basics - All the monsters lose all of their abilities in this battle.
Stampede - The Trample ability can be triggered multiple time if the targeted monster dies each time.
PELACOR CONJURER
At the very first place, I placed this non-attacker monster which has a whooping 5 speed and 8 health along with Flying, Magic Reflect, phase and Devine shield ability. This monster is a best for small mana defenders and needs only 2 mana to join any battle.
SOUL FIEND
On the second position of my lineup, I placed this 0 mana legendary monster Soul Fiend. This monster has 1 melee attack at 3 speed and 2 health along with the Swift ability that gives +1 speed to all my friendly monsters.
CELESTIAL HARPY
On the third position, I chose this furious melee monster which has 2 melee attack at 4 speed and 5 health along with Flying, Opportunity and True Strike ability. This monster never misses it’s attack on the least health enemy every round.. so consider this as your takedown pal.
TEMPORAL MASTER
Just after the Celestial Harpy, I placed this magic monster which needs only 3 mana to join any battle and has 2 magic attack at 2 speed and 5 health along with the Recharge and Stunt ability which attacks every other round but does devastating damage to the targeted monster.
DAX PARAGON
Coming to the rear spots, I placed this monster On the Fifth position which has 2 magic attack at 2 speed and 5 health along with Amplify and Affliction ability.
TIME MAGE
On the very last position, I placed my main Monster TIME MAGE. I already wrote about this monster above so let’s now move on into the real battle!
BATTLE BEGINS
ROUND 1
As the match got revealed and after all the monsters in this battle got their abilities and disabilities, my Time Mage monster did the first strike towards the enemy Chaos Agent and after that, the enemy Xenith Archer destroyed my Soul Fiend and Pelacor Conjurer's Devine shield. Next, the enemy monster Goblin Fireballer damaged my Pelacor Conjurer and destroyed my Soul Fiend monster, followed by my Temporal Master monster which destroyed the enemy Chaos Agent and my Dax monster destroyed the enemy Legendary monster Scorch Fiend.
ROUND 2
On this round, at first my Time Mage damaged the enemy front monster Ant Miner. After that, the enemy monster Xenith Archer monster damaged my Pelacor Conjurer and destroyed my Celestial's Devine shield, followed by the enemy Goblin Fireballer which again destroyed my Pelacor Conjurer and also damaged my Celestial monster. Then, my Celestial monster damaged the enemy Ant Miner and also got damaged by enemy Ant Miner’s hit along with my Temporal Master's Devine shield. Next, my Dax monster destroyed the enemy Ant Miner and after that, both of my magic monsters damaged the enemy Scavo chemist and the round ended here.
ROUND 3
As the third round started, my Time Mage attacked first and damaged the enemy front monster Scavo chemist. After that, the enemy Xenith Archer monster attacked and damaged my Temporal Master and also destroyed my front monster Celestial Harpy. Next, the enemy Goblin Fireballer attacked again and destroyed my Temporal Master and also damaged my Dax Monster's Devine shield, followed by my Dax Paragon monster which destroyed the enemy Scavo chemist and the round ended here.
ROUND 4
On the Fourth round, as usual my Time Mage did the first strike towards the enemy Xenith Archer. After that, the enemy monster Goblin Fireballer damaged my Dax Paragon and destroyed my Time mage's Devine shield followed by my Dax monster which then damaged the enemy Xenith Archer and the round ended here.
ROUND 5
This was the last round of this battle and as the round continues, my Time Mage attacked first and destroyed the enemy monster Xenith Archer. After that, the enemy monster Goblin Fireballer took the first position and because of the Ranged power, the poor enemy monster couldn't launch it’s attacks anymore to my monsters. Then, My monster targeted and easily destroyed enemy last monster Goblin Fireballer and I scored another good win in the ranked play.

I have never been able to play SL because I never had the money to buy the pack, I think I tried it as a free pack and it made me confused, having read your post, if I start in the game, I would have to study too much hahaha
You shouldn’t take this super fun game so seriously in the beginning. Just try to make a low silver tier deck and learn while playing over time. Also read posts from across hive and watch other players’s playing.. All the best!
