What’s up my fellow hivers!

I am a nature and travelling and going to new new places was one of my side hustle since my school life. The love of travelling got me the first when I got my first bicycle at the age of 15. As Soon as I got my first wheels, I started roaming and watching my surroundings every morning and started to enlarge the radius over time. At a point, I used to cycle over 10-15 kilometres everyday with my friends and even alone sometimes. I used to eat street food whenever I touch a new place and would gossip about them with my friends. It was back in 2009 and mobiles and internet was yet to strike in the market and ruin our childhood and youth. Playing cricket, reading news paper and story books, drawing or watching cartoons on television used to be my choices to spend free time upon. And cycling just got added to that list which I really enjoyed until my school days ended in 2012. Well, I did not used to have a handsome amount of pocket money so I haven’t gone out for a long ride until my college days. But still, those are still my most loveable and unforgettable memories.

In my college days, I got slowly converted into a lazy person and spent 4 years of my life either in my hostel room or doing classes. Only 1 time I and my friends successfully planned and executed a trip to a nearby sea beach 🏝. It was the mist enjoyed trip in my life till date. Usually whenever I used to go for a trip, my company used to be my family and it was the first time that I went on a trip with my friend and did lots of travelling, photo shooting and had delicious sea foods in there. However, as the college life ended and getting placed in a good company certainly becomes my top priority, the thought of going out and enjoying trips started fading away. But, as I got my first job as a telecomm. engineer at Jio telecomm, I got my posting in Kerala state, the most remote place from my home state where the food, the language and the life style is totally different from my own state. I was really excited about it and packed my bag and got ready for the journey. It was a 2,250km long train journey that took over 36 hours to travel and through this amazing train journey, I didn't lose the window seat for a minute as the nature scenes passing by was too eye catchy to leave.

Well, Life passed by a couple of years and in 2020 Due to a major bike accident, I got severely injured and it took almost 2 year for me to be back into my normal form. In this time frame, I lived a lonely life lying on bed and I could only entertain myself with my pc and mobile. But in God’s grace, I got well over time and almost recovered back into normal. Thou I cant run like before or bend my knee fully, I am happy that I can walk again and ride bikes. I lost my newly bought bike in that accident so after I recovered, I bought a scooter with my Hive earnings and nowadays I try to roam around into the local restaurants and street food stalls to surprise my taste buds with new recipes. As I am able now to visit the world out there after years if lockdown, everything seems to brighter, colourful and vibrant. As I cope up, maybe one day I will again pack my bags and take a wild journey again!

In the post, I have shared one of my recent pictures which I have taken recently while visiting to a newly opened restaurant in our town. The first green one - that’s ‘Gondhoraj Momo’ is the newest dish trend going in our state. Crowded with momo lovers as their breakfast or evening snacks, this new momo fish went viral within weeks in the whole state. By the way Gondhoraj is a popular type of small lemon that is used to make delicious lemonades generally, but in case of momos, they are pretty unique to food lovers. While eating, I really liked the little aroma of the lemon while chewing the chick stuff inside. A red sauce pouch and a chicken soup in a small cup was also provided with the momo and on my friend’s wish, we ordered another big bowl of chicken hot and sour soup to make the meal even bigger.

I hope you liked reading my post. Have you ever tried a momo dish or hearing about it the first time? Let me know in the comments below and I will be seeing you all in my next post!

Stay well and enjoy Life!
