Splinterlands season chest opening | Crypto market update

I guess all of you are having an amazing the day and also enjoying this fantastic game in meantime. The new ranked season of splinterlands has already begun and I hope that by now, all of you have claimed, opened and collected your season rewards. I also claimed them as soon the season ended and filled my bag with more monsters, dec, potions and merits. This season, I ended at the Champion III tier and with a total of 62 season loot chests. It was a pretty busy season for me as I started back again from Silver III and played my way up to champ III before the season ended.

As you can see from the screenshot above, the rewards that I got from the season is decently good. From those 62 chests, I got 3 epics, 2 rares and 27 common cards and a common gold foil card of Blood Maker. I also got 12,752 DEC and 1571 merits from the rewards which also include 72 legendary potions and 25 alchemy potions. To be honest, I expected better reward from champ tier as I haven't got any legendary or good gold foils or even a chaos pack or a big chunk of dec. I think it maybe for the format that chose cause this time I was playing in modern format instead of Wild format. But anyways, let me continue fighting and hope for better rewards in the next one. I am also thinking to rent some untamed and dice cards that I am lacking in future to increase my overall power in battlefield. Let’s see how it goes.

Now, let us take a look at the crypto market right now and get updated with the current prices and the scenario. The main dominator BTC is currently being sold for 23,335$ per unit with a -2.48% price decrease in last day. As you can see in the graph that after a quick dip from the 24k price point the last day, it’s currently sitting near 23k and if the sharp dip continues, it may fall another 1000$ by next day. The other main giant ETH on the other hand is currently being sold for 1,839$ per unit with a -2.1% price decrease as it is also following the downtrend. Our beloved hive has also lost some value and currently being sold for 0.594$ with a -2.62% price decrease within last 24 hours.

Now, taking a look at the current splinterlands token market, the main in-game token DEC is currently being traded for 0.00055$ per unit with a -0.21% price change within last day and looks like it is also affected with the downtrend. The same is happening with the SPS aka Splintershards as it has also lost a little bit of value and currently being traded for 0.0688$ per unit with a -2.13% price change in last 24 hours. The vouchers on the other hand is currently selling for a discounted price of only 0.469$ per unit with a +1.6% price growth within last day, considering they give you a value of 3$ when redeeming in shop for purchasing a validator node. Chaos packs is also cheap on HE as it is currently being sold for 1.87$ per unit with a +6.55% price change since last day while being sold in the official shop for 4$ per unit.
