Splinterlands | Attack-less soul-bound Reward Cards part - II

What’s up my fellow Splinterlands players!

Let’s Welcome another new and fresh week and I hope all of you are doing fine. If you are aware of the splinterlands game, you should know about the ongoing pre-sale event of Rebellion, the upcoming core set of cards in splinterlands where total 500k packs will be listed for sale within a time period of 30 days. Surprisingly, already more than half of the amount has been sold away and hopefully the whole lot will be sold Within the time period. Best of luck if you have participated and invested in the pre-sale or thinking to and hope when the card-set gets revealed on December, you get the coolest cards from those packs. Now, looking at the current ranked season, only around 6 days left for this cur" and I am still playing at champion II Tier with a current trophy count of 4,236 which better than where I was only 2 days before. But I still have to go a lot from here to secure a place in the champ leaderboard. Anyways, till now I have only been able to collect a total of 56 season reward chests in this season so far and for today’s focus mission which I got with the BUFFS rule, I finished playing it after collecting 11 rewards chests, which I will be opening tomorrow.

Now, collecting and opening these reward chests on a daily basis is the real deal in this game and the most fun thing. Also, building a big season chest count by the end of season by playing well throughout the season and opening them together at once also gives a thrill chill which can not be missed. Another cool thing about opening those reward chests is to collect and gather reward cards and now that the latest edition reward cards are soul bound or locked to origin account, collecting reward cards through playing snd opening chests has become the only way to obtain them. In my last post, I talked about such 3 reward cards which are attack less tank type cards and in today’s post, I will be talking about the rest 4 attack less cards that weee missed in my last post, so without ado, let us begin.

Thane Newsong

The first card that I would like to showcase here is THANE NEWSONG and this new tank card is really getting popular to be used with melee attack matches. This monster belongs to the Earth splinter and and it costs 5 mana to be used in battles. It is an epic type card that possesses no attack even at its max level but its other abilities help you well to snatch victories in battles.

At max level, this card possesses 2 speed at 9 health along with 4 abilities - Inspire, Strengthen, Swift and Headwinds. All these 4 abilities help all the friendly monsters or all enemy monsters so it will be very helpful in battles if used. The inspire ability will give all melee friendly monsters +1 attack while the strengthen will give +1 health to all friendly melee attackers. Apart from it, The swift ability will give +1 speed to all friendly monsters and the Headwinds will take away 1 attack from every ranged enemy monster. So you can clearly see how much can this single monster do alone in the battlefield.

Kra'ar Xoc

The second monster that I will be talking about here is KRA’AR XOC and it is the only ever attack less dragon card that costs 1 mana. In chaos card-set every splinter has a 1 mana and 0 mana card but not dragon splinter but that case has been taken care off by introducing this monster into the game. This card is an epic type Card that that comes at only 1 mana and thou it does not have any attack on it, its scavenger ability gets it enough health to defend even multiple attacks sometimes.

When being upgraded to ma max level, this card gets 4 speed at 5 health along with 2 abilities - Scavenger and Redemption. The scavenger ability will increase max health by +1 each time a monster dies in the battle. Apart from that, the Scavenger ability will do 1 damage to all enemy monster when this monster dies. I only have this monster at level 4 so waiting for more BCX cards so that I can unlock it to max level Asap.

Will-o-Wisp

The third card that I will be showcasing here is none other than the Will-O-Wisp and this is an example of a good tan card that comes with both large health and high speed + flying ability to dodge some enemy attacks as well. This card belongs to the Death splinter and it costs 6 mana to be used in battles. This monster is a good answer against magic attackers as well, because of its silence ability, so it is a decent choice against all types of attacks I would say.

Now if you upgrade this card to max level, it gets 4 speed with 12 health along with 4 abilities - Flying, Weaken, Silence and Blind. The Flying ability with high speed may evade one or more weak melee or ranged attacks for you while the weaken ability will reduce every enemy Monsters health by -1. On top of that, the Silence ability will reduce all the enemy magic attacks by 1 and the blind ability will increase the chances of evading enemy attacks by 15%. So we can easily inspect that this card is an awesome choice against melee and ranged cards.

Evelyn Auvera

Last but not least, let’s now talk about the final attack-less monster in the latest reward edition card-set, EVELYN AUVERA and this card has already made its place in the game for its usability with melee attacks. This card belongs to the Life splinter and it costs 5 mana to be used in battles, so you can easily use this monster from Small to medium mana limit matches. This epic card gets the immune ability which keeps it clean from any negative status effects which is a very beneficial thing in poison like matches. In top of that, its high armour + health combo serves as a good defense but its low speed wont save it from enemy melee and ranged attacks.

At max level, this card possesses 2 speed at 8 Armour with 6 health along with 4 abilities - Immunity, Thorns, Reflection Shield and Inspire. The thorns ability will damage back melee attackers when being attacked and the Reflection ability will stop getting damages from blast, Thorns or Return Fire and the Inspire ability will give +1 attack to all friendly melee attackers. Anyways, I only have upgraded this monster to level 4, so there's a long way left for it before it gets upgraded to max level.
