Splinterlands | meet TORCH VIZIER, the most furious monster with opportunity ability

What’s up my fellow Splinterlands Lovers!

I hope all of you are spending an amazing weekend with your loved ones and also enjoying this game at its best. Well, The environment has completely changed around the game since the Rebellion edition cards got launched and the Land 1.5 update also got surfaced. If you look at the 2 main tokens of this game - SPS and DEC, you will find that both of them have gained immense value over the last month where SPS is currently being traded for 0.030$ and DEC has also touched its soft pegged value of 0.001$ already an strongly holding its position. So right now, there’s happy faces all around the community, especially those who invested or held their assets firing the long bear season. Gladly, I also happen to be one of them as I also use go keep all my SPS earnings into stake wallet since the launch of the token and only by following this simple rule, I have made a decent stake of staked SPS in my account organically and without directly investing in SPS.

Now looking at the Rebellion set, no doubt that this new edition of cards have already been introduced into the game and it can be used in both Wild and Modern format ranked gameplays and in other segments like in tournaments and brawls. A total of 10 million Rebellion packs will get printed and sold out and no further printing of this edition cards will ever be done. Among the total amount, 500k packs were being listed for pre-sale which is already done and in the general pack sale which is going live right now, a total of 9.5 million packs are listed for sale. No doubt, a lot of new monsters got introduced in this new edition card-set and 4 new abilities also got introduced in the game with these new cards. There are a lot of new cards in the core Rebellion set and my current mission is to acquire them and upgrade them to max level one by one and use them to play in the Champion league once again. It will be a long process for me so right mow I am studying and identifying the cards that are most useful in this edition.

There are a lot of different kinds of monster abilities in this game, but among all of them, the opportunity ability is one of my favorites and while playing matches, I always try to find room in my lineup to insert one or two monsters with this ability. As the new Rebellion edition cards have been launched an being used in the game already, I also went to check all those new cards and gladly, among the Rebellion horde, I have found some awesome opportunity monsters as well. In this post, I will talk about my top rebellion monster with opportunity ability. So without further ado, let us begin.

TORCH VIZIER

The monster that I will be talking about here is the TORCH VIZIER and I have to say I really liked the graphic of this card, as it Looks so deadly with that flame sword. This monster belongs to the Fire Splinter and it costs 5 mana to be used in battles. It is a rare type of card and its attack type is melee. Apart from having a good attack power, decent speed and high health in its stats, it also Comes with 2 amazing abilities - opportunity and Reflection Shield. Now, let us take a deeper look into this monster level-wise below.

• At level 2, this monster possesses 3 melee attack at 4 speed with 4 health and also has the opportunity ability that it receives in its initial level. Having 3 melee attack at the bronze league level makes this monster a super attacker while decent health may protect it from multiple attacks. The Opportunity ability will let him attack the enemy monster that has he lowest health so it can be a very useful tool for you to target and kill dow weak healthy monsters.

• At level 4, this monster's stats gets increased further as it gets 3 melee attack at 4 speed with 5 health and also gets another ability Reflection Shield from level 3. This mew ability will protect it from the damages generated from blast, thorns, magic reflect or Return fire. So this monster becomes even more defensive after getting this ability from level 3 onwards.

• At level 6, this monster gets more offensive with increased firepower as it now holds 4 melee attack at 4 speed with 6 health along with those 2 abilities that I mentioned above. The increased attack power that this monster gets at gold league makes him super useful in melee attack friendly matches while the increased health alone makes him more resistant against enemy attacks.

• At level 8 when this monster becomes max level, it possesses a whooping 5 melee attack at 4 speed with 7 health and it also carries those 2 abilities mentioned above. Though it does not get any new abilities after level 3, you can see its stats are increasing rapidly with every next update. Now at max level when you have am opportunity monster that has 5 attack powers with decent speed and high health, it is very beneficial to rely on him in battles as it has the potential to beat down multiple enemy cards with its death blow.

As I said earlier, just after looking at this card for the first time, I quickly fell in love with this monster and I will try to buy this one quickly and add it to my collection. I hope you loved this amazing opportunity monster that I talked about above and also liked reading my post.
